hi everyone

we have an elf for the first time this year and i'm very excited!

On saturday im going to leave a hamper of sorts with the elf, with the girls advent calendars & rudolph monopoly.

Can i ask a little question?

I have the elf on the shelf in a box with the book - do i leave both of these out, or keep the book back? Just wondering if the book really covers all what the elf will do or do i need to leave a letter too?

I have a book with my elf but I am doing a letter as well. The fact that it's a 'letter from Santa' makes it even more special

Found this thread last night and am hooked! Never heard of it before. Picked a little elf up from tesco for £3.50 this morning (too short notice to order one), just got a mad couple of days trying to sort out a passport etc in three days!
I think it's a brilliant idea but then I am a big kid

To everyone who pm'd me wanting to join elf card swap - I have today sorted it all out, there are 15 of us which works out well, each of us will send / receive 3 cards! Remeber, cards are for the elves, from the elves!
If you havent received a pm from me let me know, but I think I got everyone!!!
