Is it okay if I join in too? I bought a cuddly cute elf in Tescos today for seven pounds, I am printing off the letter and note pad and passport now.Then I am going to sit and plan day by day what he is go to get up to.My child is nine I hope she plays along!!

Not sure if this is any help but can you not copy and paste the writing onto a Word Document on your pc then alter it?
Another option is open both in windows (the one you are copying and a blank page) next to each other and copy the text.
I did the second option, personalising names etc added a bit of clipart and a border then rolled it and tied a ribbon round like a scroll.

i've adapted the passport and letter into power point and tweaked the wording slightly for my kids so if anywants want me to e-mail it PM me.

I gave up trying to find christmassy notebooks today and instead bought a big pack of 24 gift tags for £1 (the style that are like a little card that's blank inside). Decided Elf can leave cards each day and I will peg them all up on a string.

I was struggling to find a note book for my elf- made things more tricky for myself by deciding that I needed blank pages rather than lined so it could become more of a scrap book with photos and pictures... anyway in Poundland yesterday they had lots of hard backed sketch books- I added some stickers and I'm really pleased

The naughty and nice chart is magnetic, i have candy canes for nice and coal for naughty lol, can't really see the passport too well in this picture though.

I've just finished mine (first one ever, only discovered Elf on the Shelf tuesday) and set him up a page on facebook :xmastree: I have spent more time as Buddy Snowbottom in the last couple of days than me :rotfl:
Just trying get a few things on it so it doesn't look so 'new'

I'm so excited about it, just hope my 8 year old DD enjoys it as much as me lol

Pip arrived today (currently under my bed whilst I wrap his shoebox bed). My sister sex-changed a strawberry shortcake rag doll and Pip looks great. Havent reaaly got my act together with 'elf mischief' yet but did buy some window stickers to stick on the fish tank and xmas jigsaws in £shop. Sis wants me to blog his escapades. We'll see. Dunno how to post piccies but I saw strawberry yesterday and you'd never belive it was the same doll.

Is everyone's elves in place??

I will post pics tomorrow. There is no way I can do a 'hiding place' every day (we are in a 3 bed house, not a mansion lol) but I will see how it goes.

I will include a note asking the children to find/make a bed for him, I haven't been able to find something suitable. I will have mroe time for next year to find a mini sleigh or suclike.
