I live next door to the neighbour from hell, firstly objected to our planning consent perfectly legitimate Stone Garage spoiled her view but it got approved .
Next she complained to the enviromental health because my cats go to the toilet in her garden. They followed up her complaint but laughed with us.
Next i hear through the grapevine she has made a complaint about my business which she can do nothing about as i am within the law .

    What next i wonder?

    Anything i can do ?

She will get nowhere with the environmental health team and I'm glad you had a good chuckle

Personally I would have shot them and thrown them back over the fence, that would have stopped me having to put up with cat sh*t all over the place while I was trying to lay out in the garden.

As Glitzkiss states, I suspect your neighbours think you are the neighbour from hell. There are 2 side to every story

    Hmmm.... lovely.
I don't suppose you tidy up after them?

I also picked up on this as my neighbours cats go to the toilet in my garden and it is completely disgusting. I have 3 children who play out there and the cats poo on their garden toys. Its seems to be just accepted but imagine if i took a dog around to their house to do its business in the garden. It really winds me up. I dont keep domestic pets because i dont want to have to clean up after them so it really raises my heckles that Im having to clean up after someone elses.
I am on good terms otherwise with my neighbour but if i wasnt i would love to phone environmental health - it never occurred to me before lol!

Nor would i be happy about a minibus parked next door. Down the street there is a workvan parked and that is an eyesore and a view obstruction for its neighbours. If it is a minibus then Im also assuming that theres plenty of coming and going - perhaps late at night or during antisocial hours.

Nor would I be happy about building work going on next door to me.

To be honest, you sound like my neighbour from hell and I can say I blame your neighbour for complaining about you. If youve never been on good terms then these irritations must be a big annoyance to her.

I would imagine that things have gone past making amends but i would suggest that the next time a disagreement occurs a bunch of flowers/bottle of wine goes far towards building good will. My rabbit went through a phase of tunnelling through to next door when it was let out and it annoyed my neighbour (and me as we had to then somehow get it back!) so I rectified the situation by double reinforcing the fence and took a bottle of wine around to smooth the relationship over. If you want to be on good terms with your neighbour then you also have to rectify the situations and do the same, but I wouldnt imagine that you are willing/able to do that.

Only a 'special' kind of person would report something as petty as a cat pooping in their garden to the Environmental Health Dept. What an overreaction and a waste of time and resources.

I think that alone shows what kind of person OP is dealing with.

Not when cat poo can cause infection, guess u have never had to spend your time cleaning it up so that your children can play in their own garden.

Yes cat poo can cause an infection in pregnant women which can severely effect a babies development causing brain damage and blindness. I have been pregnant and watched my neighbours cat doing its business outside while my older children play. Vile.

Do you have any idea how long that takes to type when you are searching for your posts. I only put the L in the middle of my nickname as I was getting too much abuse on the utilities board when I called myself BT.

You are missing the point. Calling the Environmental Health Dept over a turd is akin to calling an ambulance over a broken fingernail! Complete overreaction.
