Complaining Neighbours

I live next door to the neighbour from hell, firstly objected to our planning consent perfectly legitimate Stone Garage spoiled her view but it got approved .
Next she complained to the enviromental health because my cats go to the toilet in her garden.They followed up her complaint but laughed with us.
Next i hear through the grapevine she has made a complaint about my business which she can do nothing about as i am within the law .

What next i wonder?

Anything i can do ?

Then this wonderful neighbour would have the OP done for trespassing if the OP were to go on their property to clean up the poop I would imagine!

I am not so sure... We only have her word to say that they are so nasty. There is always 2 sides of the story.

It might have all started with the cat poo... I know it drives my OH mad.. I don't like it, but I kind of got used to it.

To be honest I don't like the way OP wrote "our cats poo on their gardens, but we laughed at that"... That is why I am very weary..

I suppose there must be more people that think this is normal at least while they are thinking about us
they can't be plotting against someone else.

And all there claims have gone against them . but maybe i am wrong maybe?

So she lodged an objection to your planning application, which she was perfectly entitled to do.

Then she's complained about your cats crapping in her garden, which IMO she is perfectly entitled to do (albeit a bit OTT to go straight to environmental health rather than talking to you about it).

Now she's allegedly complaining about your business, but as it's 'though the grapevine' you don't know all the details about it, specifically what her complaint is, or what her grounds are. Without knowing either of those or what even what your business is, we cannot comment on whether she has a valid complaint.

Doesn't really sound like a neighbour from hell to me.

My cat since she first went out has never poo'd indoors, she hates to. You can never be sure where cats go

Really, cats do as they please, having cats themselves the neighbour will know this.

Yes there might be more to it but it's still really annoying to have neighbours that are always trying to set the authorities on you. I have a friend who has a 5 year old with ADHD and 2 younger children and her immediate neighbours are always calling her landlord and social services because they think she's too noisy. Never mind the fact that their nipper will sit revving his moped in the front garden close to midnight that doesn't appear to disturb his parents at all :think:

There are just some people who think they have a right to make other peoples lives hell.

Maybe you should ask them if you've upset them somehow in light of all the visits you've had and see what they say!

Ok the first was was ok everyone has the right ,and i do know about the third complaint by someone who should'nt of leaked it yet ,but thats not a worry to me as i have checked i am running my business within the law.
She is so desperate to pin something on us.

I can't believe she sitting in her house plotting against us ,i would'nt mind if we were doing anything wrong.

i don't understand people who complain about things they cant win what the point what are they going to achieve.

It all started with the garage mind you she has complained about all the other extensions in the road as well.
