it's a bit easier to scoop up the poop if your dog sh1ts on the pavement/public park.

Short of keeping watch to see if your cat uses the neighbours garden to do a poo, and then shinning over the fence to clear it up, there's not much you can do.

As I said you can buy stuff to sprinkle on your flower beds that is meant to help. And keep your lawn cut as they are more likely to use it if it gets long and straggly.

Aaaah tell me about it, my OH tried nearly all the products to get rid off the cats.

As I say, I kind of got used to it. I just get on with life. My OH never will I don't think though and he is not the only person I know that are vivid cat haters for the simple reason that they crap on his hard work.

I know it is not easy to control, that does not mean that you can dismiss your neighbours concerns over it.

It is the way you deal with it that matters, and nothing from the OP tells me that she has any concerns for anyone.

I live next door to the neighbour from hell, firstly objected to our planning consent perfectly legitimate Stone Garage spoiled her view but it got approved .
Next she complained to the enviromental health because my cats go to the toilet in her garden. They followed up her complaint but laughed with us.
Next i hear through the grapevine she has made a complaint about my business which she can do nothing about as i am within the law .

    What next i wonder?

    Anything i can do ?

What type of business do you run?
Do you have a large van?

Well i would if i thought i could do anything about it , but ive never heard anyone teach a cat not to go in next doors have you?

And like the enviromental health said there is nothing that can be done cats will go where they want to go and i have to put up with other peoples cats in my garden.

We taught ours not to go into my neighbours garden, but it took a lot of time and hard work. Also needed us both to work together.

That said they don't have cats of their own so I could completely understand their objection to cat poo in their garden!

It took a combination of pepper, citrus peelings, water guns and lots of observation!

Make sure your all affairs are above board.

It may be considered harassment but I'm no legal expert.

Not in my case, sadly. They seem to love making a deposit smack bang in the centre of a neatly mown lawn.
Little s***s (and I include my own cat in that).

Seeing the size of some of the piles though, I am also wondering if Nigel the Jack Russell from a few doors down doesn't make the trip sometimes.

    Double:mad:

    Have you spoken to them?

That is what i am beginning to think ,

The first complaint is planning permission so objections are ok ,the council makes the decision.

But the next two complaints are unjustified ,so i now have to wait if i get any more complaints that are unreasonable i will probaly see where i stand.
