Is this a strange request?

See, so it osn't a strange request? You've kind of answered your own question

On a lighter note, is she worried someone can see in, when things are getting private, because that would really bother me?

Slide?? Way more fun than a stair lift

However - cost of bathroom might not be that bad. You can get smaller length baths (1500? I think), and I have seen some good deals on suites if you don't want to go for anything really specific.
From experience, I would say do not get a small bath! I have one and it's a nightmare, to the point that although I'm only 5'7 I will no longer have a bath as you can't get comfortable in it! I was never very fond of baths before that but it really spoilt the experience completely for me.LBM: August 2006 £12,568.49 - DFD 22nd March 2012

Very close, actually.
Basically, the dogs sleep in my room, always have and hers always slept in her room when she lived at her place... so we have my three and her two sleeping on a sofa and a small chair bed in the bedroom at night... one big happy, waggy family.
Now, it seems, that when we get a little intimate, one of mine has taken to observing the whole thing with undivided attention and it is bothering her... She's always been the one to instigate things in the bedroom but apparently she doesn't like the audience she has attracted... and to be honest, I wouldn't want a whippet glaring at me in bed either. :rotfl:
She knows the dogs will whine all night if they're ejected from the bedroom... perhaps some sort of curtain is in order? :rotfl:0 -
See, I can't let the dog in my bedroom because that would really really freak me out, and she is so jealous, she would be up on the bed. We have a stairgate and she's not allowed up the stairs at all. They will whine for a day or two, but then they'll get used to it.
Well done both of you for communicating and getting to the root of the problem.

Since she has told me this I'm just picturing the dog staring.. oh dear...
Ah, I'll sort something out now I know what the problem is. The dogs are all generally very well behaved so it shouldn't be a problem to sort something out... maybe just move their sofa into the hallway out of sight but leave the door slightly open so they're still happy that they're nearby or something along those lines.
They know they're not allowed on the bed so I don't have to worry about that!

:rotfl: too funny, I'm sorry to laugh, but at least moving the sofa will be cheaper than a house renovation! It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your window

That's fine, I've been giggling about it every couple of minutes. Zoe, the dog to blame for the situation, came up to me a few minutes ago with the eyes asking for a treat and I nearly laughed at her thinking that this is what my poor partner has been seeing recently. :rotfl:
I love my partner - only she could turn something as simple as wanting the doggies to stop being peeping toms into a need to turn the house upside down!
I think I'll cook her something nice for when she gets home.

It'd cost less to move bedrooms!

Well the MSE answer would be to try Freegle but I think asking her to sleep in a secondhand bed is worse than asking if Zoe can stay in the room
