The link to T&Cs doesn't work on this page of their web site.
So I assume "No withdrawals allowed until maturity" also means early closure not allowed.0 -
Thank you Dizzy...marginally better than Barnsley.0

Does anyone know if you can pay say £300 on opening and then more money at a later date?
Thanks0 -

Is is really too much for you to bother looking at the Skiptons web page for this product (helpfully given by an earlier poster) where the answer to your question is clearly stated.
That is one click of the mouse required and considerably less effort than writing your question.........
Additionally it tells you the minimum required - which is more than your £300.0 -
Anyone having problems applying for this online? I get nearly to the end of the application and a message appears saying 'can only set up an account type of investment. Can only set application source to F (face to face) or P (postal)'. As it won't let me go further I've tried logging in and applying again but to no avail. Hope it's just a temporary glitch.0

The site does have a document
http://www.skipton.co.uk/savings_and_investments/e-savings/pdfs/1yrEBond.pdf
which describes a 1-year bond. So these might be for the Limited-Edition 1-year bond, though they might just be for some other bond they have withdrawn or haven't announced yet.
That says that the account will change into a "My Loyalty Saver" account : let's hope that will be an online account, since it would be a pain to have to go to a branch to withdraw the money. Probably just one of the familty of "My XXX Saver" online accounts.0 -
Tried to apply again and it lets me get to page 4 and then I get the same message I wrote earlier. I'll phone them tomorrow as it doesn't seem to like me for some reason!0

Very frustrating as no-one else seems to be having problems opening it. I've just tried again and still get the message saying 'can only set up an account type of investment. Can only set application source to F (face to face) or P (Postal). Have got bond maturity proceeds to save somewhere so if can't sort it tomorrow I'll send it to the Coventry Poppy Bond.0
