I found this on Kleeneze website.
By the 1990’s, Kleeneze was so successful that they were purchased in 1995 by Farepak Ltd - the hamper company and became part of the now £200 million + Kleeneze Plc Group.
European Home Retail PLC appear to be the company which have ceased trading. All my views are just that and do not constitute legal advice in any way, shape or form.£2.00 savers club - £20.00 saved and banked (got a £2.00 pig and not counted the rest)Joined Store Cupboard Challenge]0 -
Maybe we should all write to the main Director at his home address:-
Stevan Lloyd Fowler, of Tower House, Kirklees Hall, Clifton, Brighouse
Found this under the Halifax today article.0 -
I feel sick just thinking about this, I've lost £500 and with three young kids, it's going to be hard. That said, I know there are going to be people worse off than me, at least my kids are young (eldest is three) and won't realise that they're getting less for Christmas. I really pity those with teens who expect expensive pressies. Bet the directors wont be going short this Christmas. Its hard to believe so many people are going to be affected by this and I feel so sorry for the agents, mine had obviously been crying when she told me. I just hope people realise it's not the agents fault. I'm clinging to the hope that the company might get taken over and orders fullfilled but I know this is a long shot, still have to have some hope eh!0

I haven't read every single one of the messages on the 14 pages so forgive me if this has already been said, but people affected need to write to the liquidators to put a claim in for some/all of the money back once the company finances have been sorted.
Not sure if this info is available on the net, if it isn't then contact Consumer Direct on 08454 04 05 06 as they will have the details.
There is no guarantee this will get you anything back, but at least if you are on the list of claimants then you are in with a chance.Little lady arrived 13/12/110 -
I sent an email to my local MP this morning who replied to me via an email, which showed his previous emails to his colleagues for information as to what Farepak was.....!!! It would seem he was totally unaware of the situation... !!!!! He just advised me to write in with a claim (which I have already done)& wished me luck !!!!0

This is from the Google cache of the freedom2shop website referring to the Choice Vouchers going into administration.
http://66.102.9.104/search?q=cache:7SDc9qVGD-cJ:www.freedom2shop.co.uk/choicebulletin.asp%3Fpage%3Dfaq+farepak+choice+administration&hl=en&gl=uk&ct=clnk&cd=9
To clarify, Freedom is entirely separate from Choice. Choice is simply a supplier to Freedom. Freedom is run by Farepak, who are financially stable and have been for the past 37 years of trading.
How is my order for Christmas 2006 affected by this?
Your Christmas 2006 order will not be affected by the current uncertainty surrounding the Choice Gift Voucher. Continue to make your weekly savings for the hampers, vouchers and gifts you have on order for 2006. Any Choice Vouchers you have on order for 2006 will be replaced automatically with the bonusbond gift voucher.
Don't forget, with Freedom, you do not have to choose which vouchers you want to save for immediately. Simply save a total value and in September 2006 we will confirm with you which vouchers you wish to receive for Christmas.
My customers are worried about the safety of their money. What should I tell them?
Choice Gift Vouchers is an entirely separate and unrelated company to Freedom. Freedom is completely committed to giving all our valued customers an excellent service and complete peace of mind. Your money and that of your customers is completely safe with Freedom. You and your customers will not lose your money as a result of Choice going into administration.
Is any other part of my Christmas 2006 order affected by this situation?
No. If you have ordered hampers, any gifts or experiences or any other vouchers, these are completely unaffected by the Choice situation.0 -
