As I have just posted on another thread, I have no kids and not a lot of presents to buy for Christmas, so I'm not familiar with these hamper schemes and I'm probably talking rubbish, however it seems to me that it would be better to just put the money into a savings account instead of the pocket of some company.
Be as it may, I sincerely hope all those of you who have lost out will be able to get your moneey back!Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -

obvious with hindsight and i am sure thats what everyone will do in future. i recommend ALL vouchers obtained from ANY hamper companies are spent quickly to avoid last years choices voucher aggro.
i am not sure if even the big guys (Park etc.) will get the custom next year they are used to. having said that, its probably only Farepak customers who are aware of all this trouble anyway, and these are the people who won't do hamper companies again.
this situation needs massive publicity so others can make a informed decison for next year.
good luck all.0 -

I feel like going and pappin the theiving B!!!!!!'s windaes in. Fortunately I changed my mind about saving for Farepak vouchers but it doesn't stop me being angry for all the other poor soles who have been robbed. He should be made to pay for this debacle asap. Contact anybody who you think may be able to help. HITA, the media, Trading Standards, MP's, the fraud squad. Anybody who will listen.0 -
Think with the media coverage this story is getting,a lot of customers from other Hamper companies will think twice before handing their hard earned cash over ,
Having lost out myself from Farepak, will never again join one of these clubs.
Think a lot of these companies will suffer next year0 -
Just said on the radio (swindon)that no customers will get gifts or vouchers from the company, they will however get a percentage back but that wont be this side of christmasWill this hammy hunt ever end ???
So far all 4 hamsters £40,3 beds £15,Skate board and u turn £22,House £25 total £97.00 ....still wanting wheel,car,slide,ball,surf board ....
HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERY ONE :rotfl:0
