I have lost some money with farepak but have also lost out on the vouchers from the response fund. I received a special delivery which had a mini statement saying that 7 x £5 high street vouchers are enclosed but there was nothing there. Thing is there was no telephone number so I rang farepak who gave me the fund number who rang me back and said I should have a letter with a number on. The only information I had was a website no email or any thing there was an address so I have sent a letter. What else can I do?
On top of all that I have only just found out about Argos after buying 2 things there recently. If anyone knows a number I can ring would be a big help.
Thanks
p.s think this site is great been a big help with Christmas presents. Keep up the good work.0 -
I was chuffed tonight when got home to have the neighbour welcome me with a big hamper that arrived while I was out. I done a bag of goodies for my customers even though they all had vouchers on order and still plenty to fill my cupboards. Thanks farepakresponse fund

No.1 on my New years resolution list is to open a separate bank account to save for next Christmas!!!!

Help needed urgently.... The money paid to me from my Abbey bank on the indeminity claim back in November is being taken back from my bank on 1st February. The money was shared out among my customers and I don't have the money to pay it back.....I asked 2 ppl when I had the money put into my bank if it was ok & could it be taken back from me if there was a problem and I was told no it's yours to keep they can't take it back...
The bank are just saying that they can't get the money from the sponsor bank (barclays) so thats why they are taking it back from me....Olympic bronze challenge-started 7/1/06-total so far is £194.300 -
I have received a report from the Administrators today into the dealings of the company. It includes a vote whether or not to send the company into Liquidation (who more investigative powers and can take legal action against the directors)
The full details are on the https://www.farepak.co.uk website if anyone hasn't received one of these letters.
All my family have received one each today, so I'm guessing that they will be on the way to everyone who registered a claim. States that at this moment in time, the amount due will be 5p in the £You're so very special, I wish I was special :dance:0 -
If you go to http://www.unfairpak.co.uk you will see discussions about the options on the voting papers, and what they mean.0

Hi, i recieved the same letter today, have phoned abbey, and they said that they were entitled to reclaim the money from me! I did manage to find a telephone number for BACS,who run the direct debit scheme, and they said that that once a customer has been refunded under the direct debit indeminity the bank cannot claim the money back (try telling abbey that)
will complain in writing to abbey,in the meantime I will be closing my account, because like you I cannot afford to repay this money.0 -
I got one of these yesterday, but I'm not really sure what to do with it!! Can you clarify please.0
