I received £120 in vouchers today from the fund set up, so quite pleased really.
I have not yet filled in the forms that I received from the Administrators, do I still have to send them back??
Thanks in advance!
Helen

not had the responce fund back yet, but got vouchers sainsburys voucher on friday, 25% of what was Ordered.
Not sure how fair it is, but it states on the letter from this this wont affect the farepak response vouchers, meaning well get the same % of response fund vouchers as everyone else, from the Total order value, plus 25% of sainsburys vouchers order
gained a tad extra aswell, as sainsburys supplied a few extras so people can round up to the next £1, so after giving everone there share we had about £5 left over, which was dished out evenly0 -
Hi There please can someone advise, i too am with barclays bank and paid with my debit card, yet when i phoned barclays they refused to let me claim back my money until i had in writing that i was not going to get anything back,

I paid in by cheque - cheques made out to Farepak, the agent works with and is a friend of my sister. I rang my sister at weekend saying agents should be dishing out vouchers and she said that the girl hadn't said anything and that she was sure she'd be straight round if she had the vouchers as she knew sis was struggling. Now sister is getting stroppy at me chasing for vouchers but surely I'm entitled to chase. The whole thing was set-up through my sister and she recommended it to me. When I told her that you could get money off at Argos if you showed your paying in book I was told that the agent never had paying in books. I trusted my sister (well she is family after all) but am getting a bit annoyed, if it was one of my friends who was the agent I would've asked for a receipt as its a lot of money. Am I right in being annoyed that my sister has been so trusting. To be honest I'm more than a little annoyed at myself for assuming that my sister had everything set-up properly but she used to work in a bank so should be used to handling money.Never let your sucesses go to your head and never let your failures go to your heart.:beer:0

Hi Kidsmum
You need to tell them your claiming it back under section 75, that should do it, it will also help if you can find all old bank statements when you paid with your card send or show them copy I listed all of my card payments and that was enough but it was the COOP.
Good luck0 -

I'm an agent and some of my customers have started hassling about the vouchers and quite frankly I'm annoyed by it as they know as soon as I have them they will have theirs same day...I've spent a lot of time and money sorting this all out for them recently and theres always one that isn't happy...
The paying in cards know as payment cards are what every customer should be given by agent which is signed each time a payment is made, also these are needed to be copied to send to the administrators as stated in recent letters sent out by them. Has yr agent given you the form to fill in yet from the administrators?
I will look when get time to see if I have any blank payment cards left that I could send you.Olympic bronze challenge-started 7/1/06-total so far is £194.300 -

I thought section 75 applied to credit cards only? I maybe wrong...0 -

I'm not annoyed about the vouchers not being handed out yet its more that there's a total lack of communication from the agent and tbh I don't think you should be annoyed about your customers hassling you if you're not giving them the information. I work in a service industry and the one thing that customers hate is lack of information. Its obvious that there's not just "always one" as you have said that several of your customers are hassling you. Thanks for the offer of payment cards but the agent in this case went out and bought some when the administrators asked for them. You obviously gave your customers paying in cards whereas this girl didn't which I felt was not good practice considering the amounts of money she was dealing with.Never let your sucesses go to your head and never let your failures go to your heart.:beer:0 -

Can I defend your agent? Im an agent, I never had any customer cards farepak freedom didnt use them, you can take your statements( I copied all my letters etc so that my customers knew that I had nothing to hide) to argos and they will honor them, I kept a book with what was paid to me,the vouchers are coming but patience is needed as they have to send them to everyone. If your agent feels as awful as me she is feeling sick everytime she hears the name fairpak, I didnt do this just for the commision I did it to help my friends have a nice chrsitmas too. So please consider her feelings as she probably is not rining you as its like rubbing salt in the wounds when you ring to say hang in there vouchers will be here soon.:A :j0
