zoe_b wrote:Just to let you know, after phoning BARCLAYS yesterday about the claim I put in on the 22 nov and being told they had lost the documents I sent, they have sorted it all out and I should be getting a full refund today ,£945.
I was also told that they recieved a memo today stating that as long as customers who paid on a Visa debit card can provide proof that they paid this way, they are not disputing any claims!
This is good news for all who paid this way, spread the word.
Only thing is what do I do about the vouchers on the way from the rescue fund, any ideas?
If you look on http://unfairpak.co.uk/forum I think you will see that the Family Fund are asking that anyone who receives vouchers and had received a full refund should send the vouchers back. They will then be re-distributed.0 -
I've just found this on the unfair site.
I've had part back from my freedom account but the major amount lost was with Farepak it's self so not handing them out till the rest arrvies.
ABM
The distribution of vouchers has now begun.
Some agents have already told us they have received a refund of all payments made to Farepak, from their bank or card company. However, because the vouchers are already at the distribution stage it may have been too late to prevent some of those agents receiving vouchers.
If you have had a refund and you do receive vouchers in the post, we would ask you to return them to the Farepak Response Fund at Unit 4, Alpha Court, Monks Cross Drive, Huntington York YO32 9WN so that they can be re-distributed.
Thanks.

Don't know about direct debit, although some people on here have said they can get something back off direct debit. try phoning the bank and asking.
Anybody who recived a refund, did you still fill in the adminstrators forms and put that you have got your money back or did you not bother with them?0 -
I have specifically joined this site to thank you, Mr Lewis.
I followed your advice re chargeback and I received 2/3rds of the money I lost in the Farepak collapse.
Also, today through the response fund, I've received some vouchers which I have donated to a friend who was not so lucky as me as she paid by cheque.
My very best regards to you and your team and Merry Christmas to all who read this message.

Also yesterday had a letter from response fund saying that ppl who had hampers (not frozen)on order would receive a hamper to share out, which is from the items that were already in the warehouse when the collapse happened.Olympic bronze challenge-started 7/1/06-total so far is £194.300 -

HI, I paid by direct debit, abbey refunded me , so my advice to anybody else who paid by, dd try your bank. recieved £ 25 in vouchers this morning from the response fund, so will be retuning them, I do hope that anybody else who had previously claimed from their bank will do the same, then hopefully the people who are not as fortunate will get alittle more of their money back.0

Hi
I received £120 in vouchers today from the fund set up, so quite pleased really.
I have not yet filled in the forms that I received from the Administrators, do I still have to send them back??
Thanks in advance!
