  • I had a fab lunch today - smoked tuna and smoked swordfish on a bed of mixed leaves, avocado, tiny tomatoes and cucumber, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, oh and it had a chilli tomato salsa with it too. All free except the avocado I do believe (there were splashes of balsamic vinegar on it) - oh, and the glass of white wine.

Come to think of it, supper was smoked salmon and salad, so it's been a salady kind of day :o)

I hope everyone's out enjoying Saturday night!
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

anyway my FIL popped round (lives next door) with 3 pieces of pizza so I had that for my tea :( not good

sigh I went to a party last night, most of my friends are a size 8 or 10 at the most I felt like a heffer, why can I control what I eat better????????? I do want to be slim
    :(:(:(
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

Keep forgetting my 2nd HEb, don't want bread, got no cereal bars, used my a's so no cereals, got no ryvita or similar, no cheese triangles and don't want cheese on its own. So any ideas?

I often use a second HEB on nuts or dried fruit, they're quick and snacky but good for you :) Plus there's always the spoonful of olive oil for whatever you're cooking. Me and my bowels both think the amount of fruit+veg we eat plus one HEB is enough fibre!!

HM soup + 1 piece of toast HEB + spread 2syns
    Chilli and pasta

    Cheese triangles HEA

Pizza - about a squillion syns

Lost count, lost motivation, lost the plot :rotfl:

    It'll be better tomorrow.

I had a row with dh which resulted in me scoffing, a kitkat, 3 digestive biscuits and a piece of white toast with butter dripping off it, then thought oh now i've boogered up the day...and promptly ate 2 more digestives:( I feel bloated, fat, and a little bit sick! I had done so well all day too.....

Oh, you're not the only one! I had an 'emotional discussion' with OH today, we kissed and made up, but I still EAT when i've been upset. So decided to take the evening off and back on the wagon tomorrow! (for me it was tortilla chips, 3 massive spoons of nutella straight from the jar, two slices of toast, pasta bake for tea, and lemon sponge pud. I win! :D;) )

I'm trying very hard to get into the mindset of 1 day off does not have to equal giving up and considering myself a failure, you should too!!

    It's horrible isn't it:(

I am also trying to realise that one blip isn't the end of it all and if I just put it behind me and move on then that is better than completely giving up....

    Back to it today:)

    Gooooooood morning all

Another drizzly overcast start to the day here - hubby has just tootled off to the rememberance parade - so its lovely n quiet here :p, I have run around with the vac and swiped around the kitchen -so now Im going to catch up on here before I get lunch under way

Anyhoo -I got on the scales this morning not expecting great things since my *week has turned into *fortnight ?? -BUT I lost 1.5lb ..so Im a happy bunny  ....
ooooohhh the Mechado beef stew was scum-diddly-umptious, so much so that hubby "called dibs" on the half leftover for his flask tomorrow :p- and I turned it into a slowcooker recipe -so I will post the recipe later..

We are getting to a point though where we keep coming up with things that we think should appear on the menu every week -at this rate we are going to have no room to try new things ...so then My day is going to be Red today and looks like this:-
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • 1 banana
    • activia (2.5)
    • lamb hotpot (B)
    • steamed cabbage (1)
    • steamed brussels
    • clementines
    • activia (2.5)
    • 3 ryvitas (B)
    • 42g low fat cheddar (A)
    • peppercorn cheese triangle (2)
    • ham
    • Leonslaw (0.5)
    • beetroot
    • peppers
    • gherkin
    • apple
    • orange
So then that should be my 2A+Bs and 8.5 syns accounted for.. so if I need any more syns I have them spare -although I doubt I should need any....
Right I will get off for now and get the hotpot made...will pop back after that to post that recipe ;)
Have a great day everyone and keep up the great work :D

So glad you had a good time dizzyk.

Our consultant was talking about flexisyns last week. There's obviously nothing 'magic' about the plan where you effectively have extra syns but don't need to 'pay' them back. I think the whole point is that if you deviate from the plan whether deliberately or accidentally (:grouphug: to those who have been comfort eating) then it's important to get right back on to it without delay. Regain control!!

I think I have it fairly easy as it's just the two of us at home so I don't have to buy some of the tempting stuff. It must be particularly hard for those with children in the house. My fruit bowl (or rather bowls) looks like the harvest festival since starting SW.:)

We're having roast beef today. It'll be a free (EE) meal but I am allowing myself gravy and wine syns!

OOOh, flexi days I like the sound of that! :D

There was me thinking that I had been greedy and undisciplined yesterday night...... nope I was just flexible:rotfl::rotfl:

Might have to be a bit flexible today too, as off to family do and will have no control over the food.

    Have started well though
    b. porridge/strawberries
    s. banana
    l. chicken and couscous salad

    d. who knows!
