 help help, those pesky fairies have found me, after nearly 2 weeks of avoiding them they have found my hiding place.........
I believe it was the cheesecake fairy who txt'd the pizza and pasta fairies and told them my whereabouts:eek:
it's technology's fault if they hadn't insisted on making mobiles smaller and lighter those fairies wouldn't be able to carry them around let alone use them.
hmmmmmmmmm just thought I may have made my location known by the amount of "coughs and mutters" air I've been letting escape from a certain location
damn the scotch broth and beans and peas be warned girlies I think they may be secret location devices used by the fairies :rotfl:
be careful although they found me I refused to reveal your locations so they have decided to leave me alone but they are on the hunt for fresh new victims

Well done msgnomey for getting back on the wagon
I'm joining you - I've had two *not quite dreadful but definately not good* days. My job involves a lot of visits out of my office and for the last two days I've had to take my boss and then his boss out with me - they come out with us once every six months or so to check we're performing :rotfl:. Not usually one right after the other though!
So that meant two days out with clients - who bought all the lunches. I feel very dehydrated because with all the faffing about I couldn't get anywhere near 2 litres of water a day drunk. And it's * week .
I've stuck a free chilli in the slowcooker for later and now I have to take my mother to Costco.

Good morning all
I have been up ages -managed to get out of bed before hubbyso left him to have a lie in (he has just got up
) so I have sat and done some more typing up whilst it was quiet ..anyhoo....Im having a red day today and I think it should go something like this:-
- 250ml semi (A)
- 1 banana
- 1 pear
- 1 ox burger
- leonslaw (0.5)
- activia (2.5)
- clementines
- Mechado beef (1)
- 198g potato (B)
- cabbage (1)
- swede/celeriac mash
- 250ml semi (A)
- orange/apple
- Activia (2.5)
- fibre plus bar (B)
The Mechado beef is a new recipe and Im doing it in the slowcooker -so as always -I will report back if its a "do again"

Scanbran porridge update: it was vaguely eatable if you put a hea of milk over it, zap it until the milk has soaked in and mashed it all up a bit, and serve with a tablespoon of jam.
Only thing is I dunno what to have for lunch today. Or maybe I do, and its called eat the only food I have left: potatoes! Need to shop. Hmm might go away and do a shopping list instead of the work I need to be doing...Nothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels0 -
Morning all
Despite my wobble yesterday afternoon I managed to stay on track in the end - mostly thanks to dizzy and psychopathbabble:T Thank you both
I made a surprising discovery in the midst of the hunger crisis (well to me anyway) and can confirm categorically that thirst and hunger signals def get seriously mixed up. In theory I always sort of believed it. If questioned my advice to someone else would be to up the liquid intake/have a glass of water first etc but somehow when the 'hunger' stuck I seriously thought I was the one human on the planet to whom it did not apply:o...... and headed for the fridge
Lesson learnt:j
Today will be a bit tricky as have guests for dinner.
B. porridge/strawberries
L. pasta.hm tomato sauce. banana
D. marinated pork/wedges/veg
Have apple strudel in for desert and some melon, so depending on how good I am that will be 10 syns or none. Plus prob 2 glasses of wine. Will try to resist the pudding as out at family meal tomorrow so will have no say in at least 1 meal plus will have to have birthday cake so as not to upset 6 yr old nephew0 -
Just wondered if anyone had any top tips for how to vary dyno soup? I'm meal planning at the mo, and much though I love it I thought I'd spice things up by varying it a bit. I'm thinking of adding a half tonne of sweetcorn to the next batch (;)) but apart from that?
And the other thing is any unusual packed lunch suggestions?Nothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels0 -

Fell off the wagon big time last night - went out for a meal ad planned to have staek and JP, pub had no JP and not much steak so went somewhere else still planning to have steak and JP, went to my favourite italian restaurant and ended up with a huuuge pizza and a bottle of red wine, then some sparkling wine and a big fat headache this morning. Ate most of the pizza - well the topping anyhow - the bit thick with cheese, was delicious!
Having a red day today and lots of speed food as well to try and balance it out!Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.0 -
Hi
I've been lurking in here for around 5 weeks now 'researching' for doing Slimming World on my own
I have most of the information Clandestine1 has on her disc on my computer - I found it somewhere on lineSome are adobe documents so can't be posted on here but all the recipes are in word so I'm happy to keep copying and pasting them on here for everyone to share :T And now I've promised that I'm going to have to keep coming back aren't I :rotfl:
Clandestine1 - what programme is it that your trials ended on?Clandestine1 wrote: »No problemOnly thing is, I can only read them and not copy and paste them onto here, as my trial wotsit has run out and I refuse to pay for something I think should be given to me for nothing as part of my laptop programmes. I`m looking through the disc and typing them out as each takes my fancy, it has recipes for red, green and extra easy as well as dessert recipes. If you`re looking for a particular recipe I`ll see if it`s on there. I think it cost me £1.50 with free P&P from ebay and it has all the books you would get on joining a SW class on it, as well asthe food diaries, the syns list etc etc, so I`m pleased with it and am trying to see if I can manage with the disc as I can`t really get to a class at the moment.
