    Found them -
    Mars Mars Bar, 18g funsize 4 4 4
    Twix Twix, 21g fun size 5 5 5

    No mention of a 20g one - what's a gramme between friends??

    Hope this helps!

    Maybe the wrapper weighs 2g!:rotfl:

I've been eating a lot of the funsize sweeties (only 1 per day mind:A) & have been finding the weight on the syns on-line differs from what the actual product weighs??

You count yours weekly rather than daily?

I suspose thats really good if you eat out once a week or something, you can claw it back rather than flexi syn.

The manufacturers were obviously hoping that we wouldn't notice the reduction in weights - they obiously didn't reckon on the syn counters!:rotfl:

This size v weight thing, I don't get it really. I got to size 10/12 at last target weighing 10st 2lb, went up to 11st 12lb and still size 12. Am well below new target and now lighter than I've been for 30+ years but still a size 12 so go figure .

I wonder if it's to do with changing shape too, as we are eating less (or no) fat. I certainly feel my thunderthighs are no longer thunderous - even at 8 st I had thighs that had a life of their own, but now at just over 10 st I seem to have mostly lost them :D has anyone else noticed an improvement in past floppy bits, including cellulite?
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

no i allow myself 5-15 daily but if i have a bit of a binge one day and end up eating 35 syns i will try to make up for it the rest of the week meaning that on average i don't oversyn in any single week.

i have just set myself new rules of no more than 15 syns a day but aiming for 10 , as i feel things are slipping out of my grasp again :o

A syn-free way to thicken soups/stews/casseroles etc is to add some instant mash (unless you're on the Original plan of course).

Do have some syns though, it won't help weight loss in the long run as you may well end up feeling deprived of life's little tasty bits and have a massive blow-out to compensate :)

When I make veg soups (carrots, onions, swede, parsnips, all that sort of stuff) & then I blend them, they sort of seperate afterwards. I have to shake them to mix (I store them in tupperware pots). Do you think if I added smash or a potato it would solve that?

Here's my food diary for today. Was at work today so had to pick up something quick after breakfast to make sure I didn't grab something high in syns when I finished from the train station, I think i'll take a bigger bag to work next time and quickly put some pasta n sauce in a tupperware filled with hot water so it cooks while I walk to the train station and I can eat it on the train, and hopefully not be hungry by the end of my shift. I wouldnt mind but it's only 4 hours long :rotfl::rotfl:

Also had an improptu visit to Pizza Hut for tea :p had the potato wedges to share and then had the chicken arribatta pasta. Does anyone know the syn value for the pizza hut Potato Wedge please? :A bit out of my syn range, with the wedges but hopefully not done too much damage :D

    FRIDAY 5th - Extra Easy

    Morning/Afternoon

    · 2 slices of wholemeal toast (HEB)
    · Heinz spaghetti
    · cheese snack a jacks 30g (6)

    Evening

    · apple
    · roast chicken fridge raiders (2.5)
    · softmint (0.5)
    · Pizza hut chicken arribatta pasta (5.5)
    · ½ portion of potato wedges (???????)

TOTAL SYNS = 14.5 without the wedges

Also need a HEA to use up, but not sure on what seeing as I don't have any syns left! I don't like just drinking milk... or eating just cheese on it's own either :rotfl:

It says in the new directory

SIDE ORDER POTATO WEDGES 8 SYNS PER PORTION on green & ee 19 on red

Yes, and the extra water I bet. I don't have to use body lotion after every shower any more. Mind, I've cut back on shower gel too, it's got to be a kind of detergent.
