Hmm was a bit naughty tonight
had a chinese as both me and OH were knackered and couldn't face cleaning up the kitchen before we even started making dinner.
So... anyone wanna help me guesstimate the syns of mushroom chow mein and quorn + veggies in satay sauce? (the really spicy stuff, i'm not even sure if it has got peanuts in?!)0 -
Here's my food diary for today. Was at work today so had to pick up something quick after breakfast to make sure I didn't grab something high in syns when I finished from the train station, I think i'll take a bigger bag to work next time and quickly put some pasta n sauce in a tupperware filled with hot water so it cooks while I walk to the train station and I can eat it on the train, and hopefully not be hungry by the end of my shift. I wouldnt mind but it's only 4 hours long :rotfl::rotfl:
Also had an improptu visit to Pizza Hut for teahad the potato wedges to share and then had the chicken arribatta pasta. Does anyone know the syn value for the pizza hut Potato Wedge please? :A bit out of my syn range, with the wedges but hopefully not done too much damage

Thanks :j Do you reckon that would be for the starter portion size?? Because 4 syns for my half seems pretty reasonable, but if not 8 for my half seems slightly steep.Slimming WorldWeek 1 B]-7[/B Week 2 B]+1[/B Week 3 B]STS[/B Week 4 COLOR=DarkOrange]STS-3-2[/B Week 7 COLOR=Red]-1+2[/B Week 9 COLOR=Red]-2[/COLOR

Maintained this week which is really good, despite a curry and croissant fest this weekend thanks to parents coming down to visit.
*please note that curry and croissants were separate!
Did anyone see come down with me this afternoon? That pomegranate salad looked amazing, think I'm going to make it this week but leave out the oil.
Here is the recipe, I can imagine it being nice and refreshing.
2 red onions, very finely sliced
2 shallots, very finely sliced
3 pomegranates, seeds only
Large handful mint leaves
3 tbsp lime juice
1 tbsp lemon juice
7-8 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper0
