Today's been better so far :D

Bran Flakes (part HEB) + milk (part HEA)
Have run out of MLs  - must get some more!
Ryvita (other part HEB) + marmite + cheese triangle (part HEA) + cucumber slices
Milk in teas (other part HEA)

    Pasta
HM sauce - lots of tomatoes, onion, celery etc. for superfree

Not sure what to make for dinner - I have a butternut squash in the fridge and lots of veggies, so I may make soup.

how much is slimming world at the moment and does it ever get given free by your gp?

i have asked this on the weight watchers thread too,, but im wondering what people think is the best one for someone very overweight, not just a few stone or so and also someone who has all the knowledge of what to eat but none of the willpower or emotional strength?!

I dont have it myself but there are several members of my group who were sent by their GP and they dont pay Its £4.95 or £4.65 for us oldies !! mind you one of the best bits of getting to target is not having to pay !! :rotfl:

well im going to join. i weighed myself this morning to find im 12 pounds lighter than i thought i was. i thought i was at least 20 stone, but the scales say 19.2. However, now im convinced they are broken and not accurate.

i got the gp to refer me for a swimming programme in july, never heard anything and only chased it this week (this is how i sabotage things), to find that the health centre didnt get my paperwork, so they need to do it again.

im also going to find out if the gp can refer me to SW but for now i'll use the books i have already

I got 12 vouchers for free from the gp, and can get 12 more if i lose 5% of my body weight. To qualify you have to have a bmi over 30. I am in suffolk. i THINK everyone who comes under suffolk pct should be allowed them.

I know there Is a girl from my group who gets vouchers from her doc.....but only certain docs surgeries in this area are doing the scheme apparently- so its a bit of a lottery.
Saying that tho, our doc is very very good at prescribing the meds that you need (without it being a cost issue)and sending you for any tests etc asap....which Im hearing some folks are struggling with :( so Im not complaining about them at all ;)
  • has anyone got the recipie for syn free onion marmalade? I think its in the new xmas book

Just had a bowl of amazing soup - butternut squash, onions, carrots, parsnips, celery, two chicken stock pot thingys and lots of chilli flakes.

It may not *quite* be the DynaRod special - but it was damn good :D

And there's still at least another two huge portions left. Nomnomnom.

Ive just got a load of Bum comments back off her....and she told me she always knew I was full of sh*t :D (she has the same sense of humour as me eh)

I can once again thoroughly recommend the cleansing properties of Dyno Rod.....tho 3 meals a day plus supper for 3 days ......then adding sweetcorn to the mix (as per consultants suggestion) is only to be used in dire emergencies:rotfl::rotfl:

Ohhhh here we go again must dash......

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:See, Dynorod soup makes for excellent Body Magic too :D
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

You don't seem to have many syns - you are allowed up to 15 a day (though it's recommended you have 10 at the beginning in case you make errors in your calculations). Also if you're splitting your HEs (as with milk and cheese triangles) make sure you're measuring everything correctly or you could be going wrong there.

Try to make sure you have LOTS of water every day - I find sparkling water is lovely, very refreshing and much more palatable than plain water. Try plain water warm with a slice of lemon too. IMO having lots of water really does help with weight loss.

Other than those small points, your menu looks good to me. Trust yourself and have patience....it does work but it takes ages to put weight on, so it's not going to fall off overnight is it? :)
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
