  • well done Bobcat, even staying the same is better than a gain! Some people on here talk about some ten minute exercise vids, I can't be sure cos since I managed to lose weight without doing any extra exercise I actually exercise less than I used to (in that, because I am lighter and thus high heels are easier to wear, I wear them more often instead of my stomping shoes. However, because I live on top of a mountain *slight exaggeration* it's hard to trudge up and down the hillside in heels, so I drive :D ) I do think I burn a lot of calories shaking with laughter at some of the talk on here :rotfl:

Now, I forgot to tell you all last night, I lost 2 lbs!!!! That is a BIG loss for me, I've done it in half and one pound losses and the occasional gain :) I'm very pleased, and am now only 5 lbs off my new and final target :D
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

    Hello :0)
A green day for me today:
porridge with banana and cinnamon (HEAB)
    2 Alpen light bars (HEB)
    quorn bolognese with spaghetti
    2 plums, banana
pasta with herbs and lemon juice
    mullerlight and a pear
2 rhubarb and custards (3syns) and a mini curly wurly (5 syns?)

I've had a stressful day... 2nd day in my new job and the school rang at lunchtime to say DS was ill and could I please go and collect him. He's been really poorly and I feel awful for him, but am worried that I'm not making a good impression at work. I almost said 'stuff it' and had pie and mash, but restrained myself just in time!

Oh yes, didn't get to staff room til after school am so glad though as big tin of roses in there :(. Most days theres cakes, biscuits or chocs in there but have managed to avoid them so far :o.

I have a bowl of pineapple, melon, onken & a crumbled meringue every evening and I find that makes me 'go' every morning without fail :D my version of Eton mess but without the cream :D.

Will be back to post food stuff later as need painkillers for my son, the man of the match in his colleges 65-5 win at rugby today. He plays his heart out but don't half suffer with aches n pains afterwards :rotfl:.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Hi went to club by work tonight - lost 2lb:jsuprised after flexi syns day Sat, and have done less excercise.

So only half pound off my first stone:D

I do love my local meeting and the consultant is really good but the 5.30pm class by work is a lot easier in the winter months, did not stay for meeting as wanted to get home for tea after long day!

So got to get half pound off and hopefully more by next Thu - not that I want my sticker or anything:rotfl:

I make staff but them in the kitchen and not on my desk so I can't see them! I dont really crave sweet stuff if it's not around me and have never ever kept chocolate etc in the house but if someone buts yummy chocs and biscuits in front of me I cave in. Luckily I had some syns saved so treated myself to a two fingered kit kat and party ring.

The worse is when people say; " Oh go on, have one, it won't hurt".

I have a friend who is very overweight - to the point he can't walk without getting out of breath who keeps saying "Oh go on, have one, it won't hurt" and "you don't need to lose any more weight"! It drives me nuts!:(

it happens all year in ours, I just smile and say "No thanks, I'm not keen on cake/chocolate/biscuits" and it's actually true in 2 out of the 3 listed. You could always add "... any more" or "...these days". Your workmates, imo, should support you on your weight loss journey, my closest workmate certainly does, including reminding me to drink water. It really helps to have them on your side :T

  • Some good weight lose these girls, well done! :)
Keep going! There are always chocs, biscuits and cakes at work, and I try and resist, as I love that feeling of walking out the staffroom having stayed strong! And most of the time, they aren't worth it anyway - although I did indulge in some Heros on monday, coz I knew how good they would be!
Think of the dress you wanna slip into for christmas (or the dress you'll be wearing when you go to a wedding and see your boyfriend's ex girlfriend at, in my case!! - what an incentive to stick to plan tho!!!). :rotfl:
