autumnflower wrote: »hey, had a week off plan last week as everything went mad! had a job interview, an induction, a weekend trip which was catered, 2 nights out including meals both nights, a night out on the trip and a project deadline ALL in the same week, haha. So the diet went out of the window, but am back on plan now
Went food shopping today, so i'm trying to plan meals for the week. I also have a week off thankfully after all this madness so lots of time for cooking and such.
I've got stuff for a chicken stir fry, which should be free on EE as I don't use any sauce or anything. Still need to buy the veg for it though, but i'll get that later. I also bought some Weight Watchers Lasagne's as the 2 for £3 offer on mince at Sains has gone and the more expensive ones are WAYYY too big for just two of us. And the b.f asked for something more 'normal' this week :rotfl:so 5.5 syns for them. Going to have some jacket potatoes this week also, and will have to have a think for other stuff. Oh, 6 packs of Muller Lights are half price at sainsburys BTW so it's £1.64 each.
I also got some Weight Watchers tomato and basil chicken, and was extremely confused as there were two different syn values;
WW Chicken in Tomato & Basil Sauce, frozen 320g pack;
RED - 6.5 GREEN - 11.5
WW Chicken in Tomato & Basil with Potato Wedges, frozen 330g pack; RED - 7 GREEN - 5.5
on the box it didn't say it had potato wedges in it so I was gutted that I bought something relatavely high in syns. But then I opened the box and low and behold! they had wedges in them?!?! I was very confused..... yet happy I had miraculously bought the lower syned ones :rotfl: even though they have chicken in they are lower on green too.
Also I have some leftover stuff in the cupboard and wondered if someone could check the syn values for me please?
Sainsburys Spring Vegetable Soup - 400g can
Sainsburys BGTY Mild Chicken Curry - less than 3% fat - 400g can
Sainsburys Lean minced beef & onions with gravy - 198g can
TIA
I accidently bought the chicken curry as I thought it was just a curry sauce and then realised that it had chicken in it too when I got home. I also was wondering if there are any syns in the premade chilled mash from sainsburys, its £1 for the tub. Could come in handy when I can't be bothered to cook potatoes.
Sorry for the mahhusive post!!
Today's menu; not sure what day i'm having until I decide what to have for tea
Breakfast- 2 slices of WW wholemeal bread (HEB
- scrambled eggs
- 2 slices of bacon medallions
Tea - will decide when the b.f gets home.

Ive Just got back from yet another trip to hospital.....Been to see the Pre Op BAHA nursing team to explain the Op in detail & show us a video _pale_ (OH really wishes they hadnt as he is the one who has to do the dressing changes after the 1st four weekly hospital ones lol) So I see the surgeon again on the 24th to sign the consent form.....have my Holibobs and my Op should be not long after Xmas:D 3 months for the graft to heal then I get my new magic ears :j Have to give this Dalek headband one back anytime soon thoso its back to not hearing again which is a real bummer
Its kindof mucked my eating up a bit (not that I felt like eating the fruit that I took with me after watching the video:eek:) Im a serving down on the Old magic Dyno Rod (which as yet has failed me !! )
I may have to resort to the extreme dose of the magic Poo powders if nothing happens soon  I still think my theory that the evicted fairies camp out up my bum cause the blockage is right.....even more reason to hate them
Righteo Off for some Dyno Rod.....Im hoping that I can produce more than just the noises soon :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Thanks for looking :j the minced beef is the right one I think, but mine is the half size tin so should work out around 3.5 syns.
I'm glad the curry is pretty low too! I'll be sharing it between two so that will only be 3.5 syns abouts per serving too.
May have some mince and mash for a quick tea one night, its one of my fave 'stodge' foods and at 3.5 syns for it very nice
I also forgot to add that I had a chocolate digestive that the bf had. Keeps offering them to me and I don't know if I have any willpower left to keep refusing them :rotfl:4.5 syns are wayyyy too much for a crappy little biscuit.
I also did a quick search for the soup and still couldnt find it :-( nevermind!
here is the nutritional info -
per 100g - Portion size = 400g.
36 cal
0.8g protein
7.4g carbs
0.4g fat
0.6g fibre
0.6g salt
it has carrots and leek, pepper, potato, peas, celery, swede and onion in it, so would some be classed as 'free food' in it, or are the amounts so low in a soup that it's negelable?Slimming WorldWeek 1 B]-7[/B Week 2 B]+1[/B Week 3 B]STS[/B Week 4 COLOR=DarkOrange]STS-3-2[/B Week 7 COLOR=Red]-1+2[/B Week 9 COLOR=Red]-2[/COLOR

I tried to put the soup values thru the syn calculator and it asks you if it has any free food in - but only allows you to specify one veg from the long list - so I put the carrots as the free food and it came up with the following.
Free per package/portion on Extra Easy
Free per package/portion on Green
7 Syns per package/portion on Original0 -

Tesco Morrocan cous cous with chicken - the lunch type snack pack with a little pot of chilli sauce in it - could someone please see if they could find a syn value for me? It's not in my Food Directory. It was 395 calories so I'm not terribly worried if I can't accurately syn it.

Thank you for looking :A
I don't think it was that one - it was a square box, with salad leaves and chicken in it as well as the cous cous. It was delicious though - bound to be more than 1 syn 'cause it had raisins in it. Unfortunately, I couldn't really take the packaging home from the meeting - they already know I'm odd...that would have made it worse0
