  • I looked it up - seems terribly expensive, £9.99+ P&P when surely a tupperware with ice frozen inside would do the same job? or a plastic bag containing ice?

I have overdone Dyno soup today :o My house is smelling rather fragrant :rotfl:
I didn't realise it was that pricey !! Mind you could ask for one for Christmas !

I too am throwing myself into the consuption of Dyno Rod soup, youv'e forgotten to mention the noise factor !!! mind you its great.:A:T:TNot sure how I've got all those little yokes !!

Branston beans are on offer in tesco buy a multi pack of 4 (£2.45), get 2 multipacks of 4 free = £2.45 for 12 tins :D

Stuff the colonic, this'd sort you all out! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Tis a pity that branston is the one brand of beans I don't like  That works out cheaper than the value ones.

i am skint, skinter, and skint beyond belief. I am therefore going to have to a) miss class this week (I am genuinely working tomorrow night anyway) and b) not buy anything for another 10 days. Which should just about be doable, if I use the pennies I have just found on my desk to buy a big carton of milk and eat up my various breakfast cereals for a good few of my meals. :o

Just calculated syns in a tub of the new soya soft cheese (that tastes like borsin) is 12. A pot would last me a while and is so nice I'd have it as syns. Am sure a small portion culd be worked out as a HEB need to fins out what the nutritional info equals in a listed one.

Expected it to be more so that's good.

Time to go to bed before I eat a tub:rotfl:

Is it my imagination or did someone on this or the previous thread say that they worked on a 20cal = 1syn when they can't find they syn value for an item? I know this is not a perfect calculation but would it be a fair guess?

It seems there are fairies everywhere at the moment:mad:

I've tried hard to stay on track today but lunch at my friend's was a chicken dish which I'm sure had oil and cream in the sauce (didn't ask but it tasted lovely), new potatoes with butter on and I some friendly garden peas and baby sweetcorn. Pudding was a HM Eton mess plus I had a couple of glasses of wine:eek:. I was totally on plan for breakfast and a small supper but....

I'm off on a short holiday tomorrow but I'll be suprised if I can manage more than a SW breakfast. I'm going to try for ham and fruit and ignore the croissants and pain au chocolat and cheese.

Back next Tuesday and back to the plan with a vengeance, I feel like I'm going backwards.

Good luck to everyone and :T to all the losers.

It works most of the time, just be careful not to use it as a regular tool or it's likely to let you down :)
