I need some help though, last time I did it I used mug shotz alot but I cant find them in syns online and when I use the calculator they all seem to come up as synned but I am sure one or two are syn free, can anyone enlighten me as to which are free?

Hello all,
I weighed in last night and lost another half a miserable pound! I know I know, it's better than nothing, but last week I was soooooo good. I had Dyno Rod soup three days running (and I was!), and I even had plenty Scan Bran (yuk). I've taken up aqua fit on a Monday night too. I really was hoping for at least a 2lb loss, so I'm disappointed.
The week before I had a half pound loss and I had been out for a meal (and a pud) and had a cream tea!
One girl last night had lost 3lbs and she confessed to having eaten fish & chips!
The consultant looked at my food diary and could not understand where I was going wrong.
I was that cheesed off I had a syrup steamed pudding after my steak and SW chips. It was lovely!
So, whinge over, back to it today.
I'm going to make more Dyno Rod soup. Any other suggestions?0 -
Good morning all,
Been slightly awol recently so is nice to come back to a new thread. Hello to all the newbies, I'm still very new myself but have missed coming on here during half term so its good to be back.
Had my DD's 6th Birthday last week and went out for a Chinese, have to admit SW went right out of the window, and after chinese I had 2 large bits of chocolate cake so I am expecting a gain this week.
Have been back on track since Monday, but I'm just not feeling confident this week. My sister was slimmer of the week again last week, I will be lucky to get my half stone award but I must stop comparing...
Hope everyone has a good day, if I'm feeling braver later I may start posting my food for the day, see if that will keep me on track a bit more.
Well done to all the losers, as a long time lurker you are all very inspirational.0 -

I think maybe I need to get a diary that I can use to record food, exercise and weight loss all in one place (and maybe 'motivational' stuff too!). It's going to be a long long road for me
I use the on-line food diary which means that everything is in one place. You can use the journal part for the 'motivational' stuff if you want to.

Good Morning
I'm definitely in the "need to go" camp at the moment. An extra fibre plus bar yesterday in a bid to force the issue took me over my syns but I thought the "loss would be worth the gain" so to speak. WI tomorrow so hopefully some movement before then.
Anyway back to green today:
Breakfast
Baked apple with Total 0% yoghurt and 28g of Dorset Cereals Super high fibre muesli. (HEB and 4 syns) need to get a Ryvita in at some point to make up the HEB.
Lunch
Leftover BN Squash, Leek and Courgette Risotto
Hi FI Bar (HEB)
Banana and Orange
Dinner
HM Thick Tomato/Courgette/Pepper/Leek/Chilli Sauce (I'll use this for soup and pasta sauce etc)
Pasta or Pearl Barley
Snacks
Tea with milk from allowance (HEA)
0% Total Yogurt with White Choc Options (2 Syns)
I'm hoping that my new trainers arrive today (bought via Quidco!) so that I can get out for a jog. My old ones were past it and giving me shin splints.
Hope everyone has a great day,

Morning all. Loving all the poo talk lol! I am in the 'has trouble going' camp aand always have been! Twice a week is a good performance for me! Although when we first started planning the wedding I had a couple of weeks where the combination of stress and excitement worked wonders for me!!! I can't even help things along with diet as most of the usual helpers actually make me worse!! although stuff like white bread are the biggest baddies for me so atleast SW helps me keep away from that!! WI tonight, hoping to stay to class but need to get my uni work finished....should get off of here and get on with it really!!
Having a green day again today, well kind of, don't count syns on a Wed eve as I have a treat after class.
Brekkie - porridge (HEA&B), banana
Lunch - soup, slad, hard boiled eggs, fat free dressing
Tea - HM pizza (HEA&B + ??syns), chips (might use up some frozen ones seeing as its treat night!)
Snacks - fruit.
The soup I made nearly went in the bin as its bland and too thick and stodgy but I decided I'd have to force it down! However, after reading dizzy's advice on here about oxo's being a bit poop for soup I bought some marigold bouliion powder last night and I'll make a bit up to hopefully improve the flavour and thin down my yukky soup!!!0 -
Finally caught up.
I leave for one evening and I've got about 4 pages of poo talk to get through :rotfl:
Cream buns in the office today!! Nooooo, doing my best to avoid at all costs.0 -
been to weigh in + 1/2lb, which is expected. 1/2lb's not bad considering what i have put down my neck in the last few days !!!!!!!!! The one consilation is while i don't lose it easily, i don't gain it easily either. now i have to formulate a plan to get me back on the wagon0

Big (hugs) It's so disheartening when you've been so good on the Plan and lose 0.5 pound and other people in the group have been off Plan and lost more! I know when this happens to me I get very frustrated. I keep telling myself that I'm taking the "scenic
route"!!:rotfl:0
