Well I feel very much more like an active participant in society, as I have made a batch of dyno soup today, with ony a little help from father dearest while mother dearest was at work. I had forgotten how much I love this stuff. Now if only I could figure out how to carry it...Nothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels0

Evening what a day today - first time the Midlands has had proper snow! Did a stall for the animal rescue at the cruelty free fayre in Birmingham. Made £253 for the rescue animals:j
Trouble is did not sell all the blueberry muffins I made as so quiet today so will take round to the neighbours tomorrow - have tried half a muffin so in control!
Ignored the veggie burgers and fried food today - tool yoghurt and pasta salad, did buy a load of vegan cakes but will take to work if i can get in Monday and to friends so will only have 1 slice.
After the scary stressful journey home - took ages to get home in the snow in very bad conditions - didnt think we would make it and walked last mile back, so a large glass of wine feels justified as flexi day - even though ive not gone over the top.Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

Goooooooooood morning all
oooohh ecky thump we have had another 8" of snow over night ,,, and b*gger my old boots if it hasn't started again... although it did stop long enough for me to go and shovel the front of the house clear and to clear the birds table (we have a huge golf umbrella attatched over the birdtable :idea:so it makes life easier -as long as you remember to knock the snow off BEFORE you go under it and knock it and get it all down your back) I have re-filled the tables n birdbath... so now it can do what it wants
Well folks I have registered another 1lb off this week :j... although Im sure I have just burnt another few ounces shifting that snow....
Im shaking things up this week -Im going to try and use my hex Bs earlier in the day more often AND Im going to try and limit my fruit intake _pale_-I think Im struggling to use my syns again as Im filling up on fruit... so I will try not to snaffle so much fruit -but Im not making any promises .. Im going to stick my allowance for the day in a bowl and "when its gone its gone" :silenced:
So then Im having a red day today and it should look like this:-- 28g oats +** (B)
- 250ml semi (A)
- banana
- mechado beef stew (1)
- cauliflower
- nobbies
- 200g rhubarb yoghurt (4)
- 4 ryvita (B+**)
- tuna
- beetroot
- gherkins
- tickled bunions
- activia (2.5)
- 250ml semi (A)
- 250ml semi (6)
- fruit allowance:-
- 1 apple
- 1 orange
- 1 blood orange
- 4 clementines
- frozen blackberries
This weeks main meals "should" be:-- mechado beef (1)
- haddock with cheese sauce (A+1.5)
- balsamic pork (2)
- kolkata chili chicken (4)
- roast chicken dinner
- lamb hotpot (
- 1 pan prawne n tomato curry (2)
. SO far I seem to be dodging the lurgy -helped by hubby insisiting on sleeping on the sofa -although we have 2 huge reclining ones so they are realllllly comfy...
Im doing a chicken dinner for "xmas dinner" -no point doing turkey for 2 plus -Im not a fan of roast turkey.. much prefer chickchick
right I think that is far too much waffle for now so I will get off and get my brekkie ... see ya later... keep safe n warm all and keep up the great work....-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Now I am having problems with the site!
It has let me in with my log in details, but wo't let me access the weigh in page. It'll let me look at other stuff in the restricted area. Hope it's just a glitch so I will try again later.
I am having the family round today for lunch with turkey etc - at least I can SW my dinner without too much hassle! I don't like Christmas pudding so that's no problem lol. My downfall is stuffing so will just have to syn it as I go! I have also made a 'filthy' with calories leeks in 2 cheese sauce - the sauce was gorgeous..... It's a family thing and there would be a riot if I didn't make it. Let's hope they eat it all! The left overs would make a fab soup base. Turkey is in on high for 40mins, so am in the calm before the storm!
Have a good sunday everyone!

I can't access the site to update my weight either .. or access any of my details.. I have emailed them but it says it can take 7 days to get a response:eek:-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
I didn't get a reminder this week either - seems they may have some glitches with the new site.
7 days is a bit excessive isn't it??

I've emailed them too - and pointed out that if it is 7 days, I would like my membership extending by the same time please!
I opened it up in Mozilla Firefox as well as IE and still the same! Hey ho - I had stayed the same this week so am not too upset.
Went to Edinburgh for the day on Friday and had lunch at Tom Kitchins restaurant - it was lovely and I got a smile and a wave from the pass! To stay the same after my Christmas trip to Edinburgh is quite good really!

WI today and as expected 1lb gain, still well under target so hopefully have a safety net for chrimbo. Am on my own today as lads gone off to watch Leicester Tigers so my food is my own today with no chocolate tempting me from son. Am planning cheesy pasta & fruit & yog later.
Have loads to do but no energy to do it with, spent most of yesterday asleep which seems the norm after breaking up from work.
Well done MrsM on the loss :T I'm not having turkey either [we never do] we always have beef at chrimbo and pork New Year.
Good luck everyone on the run up to chrimbo, remember to enjoy yourselves and if theres gains DON'T WORRY we all know what to do to lose it again in the New Year :A
P.S Don't suppose some lovely person could link me to MrsM's easy cheesy pasta recipe could they please, have tried searching but just can't get the hang of it. I think its the wording cos I just get MrsM's posts with meal plans. Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

when I had my broken ankle (s) I always had a shoulder bag crosswise so it wouldn't slip off and in that you can pop your phone and carry a flask of coffee or soup to wherever you want! A really helpful gadget someone got me was from Lakeland (is everything I recommend from Lakeland?) and was for children to take cereal and milk to school but worked just as well for me to carry it to where I wanted to eat it! Could be yoghurt and fruit, or whatever, I'll see if they still sell them.
this is similar: http://www.lakeland.co.uk/klip-it-breakfast-on-the-go/F/keyword/cereal/product/14691_14769:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
