I lost pound and half at wi tonight so I was pleased with that. Unfortunately we don't have a class next Thursday and so next class is between Xmas and new year.
Takeiteasy - take care of yourself and try not to beat yourself up if you don't stick to plan x
Congrats to all you losers!0 -
TakeItEasy - sorry to hear you have such memories to deal with at this time of year - (((hugs)))).
Skintslimmer - so sorry to hear about your friends brother - I always take comfort that the reiki and energy you all sent him will have given him comfort.
It's a sad time of year for a lot of people - I think that there is this feeling that we should be all out having parties and fun, when actually a lot of people are struggling with loneliness and sadness - wish everyone could just hug the next person they meet! I work with a lot of older people and try to hug as many as possible (of those that want a hug of course!!), and I feel I get a lot of good energy back!
I am supposed to be going to Edinburgh on the train tomorrow for a bit of light shopping, lunch and a couple of drinks (not many, and have planned to do flexible syns), but it depends on what the snow does tonight. It was v cold when I left work tonight - my car door was nearly frozen shut!
Hope everyone has a good Friday and manages to keep warm if possible! Let's hope we are burning more calories keeping warm!NO EXCUSES - THIS YEAR IT'S PERSONAL..........0 -

Morning all
I've not posted much this week as I've been too busy! I've only got time now as work is canceled due to snow!
I've stuck to plan most days. Meant to have xmas do today but not sure if we are still going ahead or not yet. If so then today will be a flexi day.
Hope you are all doing well

Morning all, it cold here today but no real snow to speak of thank goodness! I have an xmas party to attend tonight so having a flexi day today. i only had 5 syns yesterday and I will be doing my best to keep them down for the rest of the week too. I'll make it an EE day I think:
Brekkie - Banana, porridge (HEA&B)
lunch - tomato rissotto, fruit
Tea - Starter - duck and bacon salad
Main course - chicken in some kind of sauce with potatoes and veggies
Desert - cheese board  (Its a set 3 course menu and if I'm paying for 3 courses I'm eating them! There were desserts to choose from too but they were all very naughty saounding and I'll enjoy the cheese more so I'm having it!!)
There will also be alcohol involved but hey, it's only xmas once a year and I did miss out on 2 meals out at the beginning of the month due to the snow.0 -

Morning SW'ers :hello:
Goodness me it's a chilly one today!!
I'd been feeling all 'Bah Humbug' about Christmas as I too think it can be a very sad & lonely time for a lot of people, but I saw a group of primary school kids singing their little hearts out to Christmas Carols the other day & it really did warm my heart (& bring a tear to my eyes). Made me think I should try & get into the festive spirit & put a smile on my face. Yes, I will be sad at times when I remember people I have lost, but I will also smile at the happy memories.
Anyway...
A green day for me today:
B - banana & onken
Mid-morning - plain baked spud
L - dynorod soup, 3 sesame crackers (3), 3 cheese triangles (HEA) & tomato
D - half tin chickpea dahl, SW chips (1 for oil), stuffed mushroom, WM pitta (HEB)
Evening nibble - fibre plus (HEB2)
I may have some wine tonight, seeing as it's the weekend & I have syns going spare
Have a lovely day everyone.0 -

Good afternoon all! :j
I hope you are all well! :rotfl:
I joined SW 6 weeks ago and I have lost 1 stone 10lbs (24lbs).. Was at WI last night and lost 5lbs and got Slimmer of the Week...
I just had a quick question for Consultant 31.. How does SW base its Slimmer of the Year on? Is it the weekly average accross the year? As I started in early November, how will that be calculated?
Thanks a lot in advance for the info!
Cheers
