Hi y'all!
Hope you've had a good day
I've been looking for inspiration so decided to go back to basics and had a look at the 7 day plan (veggie) on the sw site. Have just made the pasta quiche for the first time, and although it wasn't something I'd normally put together (like I'd never normally buy Pasta 'n' Sauce), it was really very good indeed! Had it with sw chips, and there's lots left for lunch tomorrow :T
I know it's popluar, but if like me, you've never tried it, give it a whirl. It's tasty!
I do mostly green days as I don't eat much meat, so I think I might go through my old magazines and have a look at the weekly plans for some new ideas there. If I find anything worth a mention I'll post it for you0 -
hello,
I am a very naughty girl!!
I was doing really well, 1lb off my 1st stone and i dont know what happened - i just stopped for almost a month now!!
am blaming the weather and being snowed in with chocolate lol.
have been on a massive bread binge and been in a bit of a dont care mood but am so annoyed with myself now.
not been to weigh in for a couple of weeks so not sure of the exact damage but from my scales at home i dont think it is horrendously bad! maybe 2lbs on.
so this is me - starting again!!!
am going to make myself post on here everyday now so i can get told off if i go off track again
so far today i have had;
blueberry bagel with butter (no idea on the syns, was from bagel factory)
1 dairylea bite triangle
1 muller light
1 fibre plus bar
1 snack a jacks bag
4 satsumas!!
I know the bagel was not good but hadnt restarted then
also this is a green day
This doesn't seem to be very much for a day's food for anyone. I assume you're also going to be having a SW friendly evening meal. It looks as though you've probably had enough syns for one day but I can only see 1HEB, so you need another HEB and 2 HEAs.

I've fallen off the wagon spectacularly... partly due to a week at home where everyone is skint so it was a week of eating whatever we could as opposed to be able to buy the healthy options. I also had a christmas dinner on Monday with my friends, and am currently wading my way through the rest of the Roses tin.
I can't be doing with putting a lot of pressure on myself at the moment as I'm struggling in general so I have made the decision to not worry about food at the moment and get back to class when I'm ready.Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Evening all. Looks like the wagon's a bit wobbly at the moment for some.... hang on in there guys, we've not hit Christmas yet! I think the phrase we need to remember at times like this is 'Flexi-Syns'. At our class this week there were almost as many pounds gained, as there were lost, which the Consultant really did look deflated about. It did make me wonder if they earn a bonus for good losses... does anyone know? It did turn out that it was Christmas treats and parties that were in the main part to blame. We then went through a list of 'nibbles' we would likely come across in the coming weeks, and their syn values. I think I've made a decision to not go anywhere near a buffet after learning that lot.
Next week is my b/day and I have 2 meals out planned, that my BF and my BFF's are arranging for me. I will endeavour to keep my syns to a bare minimum for the rest of the week, so that I can enjoy my meals out, but I also don't want to over-indulge just for the sake of it. It's a bit of a moral dilemma in the end isn't it? I've no idea where my BF is arranging for us to go, possibly a nice little pub restaurant for a lunch, but the girls have organised a curry night out... not so good for being SW friendly, but I may get away with a chicken tikka main course if I'm lucky.
Food today: EE
B - porridge [HEB], satsuma
L - satsuma, mugshot pasta cheese flavour (2 syns), Muller Ch/cake (1 syn)
D - Roast chicken, SW roast potatoes, mash, carrots, peas, broccoli, gravy (2 syns), Yorkshires (6 syns)
Quite a high syn day for me today at 11 syns, but the rest of the week they stay well below 10.
I'm going down with a cold and have a horrid sore throat, but have worked out that Locket's lozenges are about 2 syns a piece, so can't afford to have those. Have taken cold cure tablets but they don't seem to touch the soreness. Are there low syn lozenges to choose from does anyone know?
I have the joy of a Y6 assembly tomorrow in the local church. It will be my last ever primary school advent assembly, as it's my youngest boy's one. Whilst in previous years I've moaned about having to attend these, as they can be a bit dire (sorry teachers!), it will be a bit poignant and another milestone passed. It seems only the blink of an eye that he was in Y1, and being the youngest in his year, he still seems so little really.
I've decided that the best way to deal with feeling tempted by all the Christmas food is to start baking mine, and making festive goodies. That way I'll be so sick of the sight and smell of it, that I won't want anything anyway. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -

I don't think they get a bonus for pounds lost or anything, but there may be questions asked by their area manager if their group continues to gain more than it loses, I imagine. Also of course, if weight keeps going on people lose heart and abandon the class and that's money lost to the consultant.
i noticed on the SW website today they had ideas for your own Xmas buffet (sponsored by Primula spread though), and a list of other options instead of the high syn things like pork pies.
Not a cold cure but to help a sore throat you can get sugar free menthol throat sweets, I forget the make but it's one of the common ones, they are in a blue packet (Spangles shaped packet!) I expect you could make your own version of Lemsip too, using beechams powder, hot water, lemon and fake sweetener, but I've not tried thatGet well soon anyway, lots of warm water would also ease your throat.
edit: here they are, Halls http://www.sugarfreemegastore.com/vitamins-and-supplements/halls-original-mentho-lyptus-throat-lozenges:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

Morning all, it's a rather tropical 3° degrees here today, the roads are lethal though, it seems as if the warmer temp is allowing the snow and ice to become 'polished', OH drove us to work this morning and the car was slipping and sliding all over down through the estate! I'm glad its Friday but unfortunately it's my weekend it at work so I won't be getting a lie in but hopefully I won't be here too long each day either! I only had 1 syn yesterday!!! OH got the choccy digestives out last night and I was going to have one with my cuppa but when I checked and saw they were 4syns each I decided I didn't want one that much. I'm trying to keep mainly low syn as we might indulge in the m&s 2 dine for £10 deal tomorrow which is bound to be synful!! ALthough we probably won't bother with the wine, I'll get OH the orange juice instead as he's always complaining that I don't buy him it anymore.......it's soooooo expensive though just for a drink!!
RIght, enough waffling from me! Here's the menu, EE today:
Brekkie - small banana, porridge (HEA&B)
Lunch - leftover rice mixed with HM salsa, tuna and sweetcorn
Tea - shepherd's pie, roasties, carrots, green beans
Snacks - apple and pear
Have a good day all x0 -

at least i know what i will be having as i choose it months ago.
starter is a sharing platter of antipasto type meats and salad.
then for main i ordered chicken with french beans and tartiflette potatos - no idea what these potatos are like but if they are crreamy i will just have a taste and leave the rest, will be happy with chicken and green beans
