Morning all
As mentioned yesterday was a flexi day as it was my christmas do. to be honest the food wasn't too bad - veg soup, veggie roast (roasted veg in a wrap, 2 pots, lots of veg) and I only had a spoonful of the choc mousse. I drunk a fair bit though!
Back on SW wagon today, just had some lovely fried eggs on toast for breakfastwill post mealplans later
Hope you all have good days

I am a bit disappointed to find that after having a syn free week I haven't lost any weight
Today I have had my 28g porridge made with water and a banana for breakfast
250ml semi skimmed milk
I am not sure whether to go for a green or an extra easy day. We are having shepherds pie for dinner tonight and I will make mine separately so I don't have butter in my potato or cheese on tops as the boys have.
And don't know what to do for lunch.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Syns are allowed for a reason. If you haven't had any syns (min 5/day) then you aren't following the plan correctly, so this could be why you haven't lost?
Or maybe it will show next week instead?

I don't know how I missed that:o I am doing it online as I am 20 miles from nearest group. I really need to read through it all again as I just presumed I was doing okay.
I would love for it o show next week as we have a wedding and I have a slightly small dress to wear. Or not!business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Is it possible to go between Success Express say for 2 or 3 days in a week, Extra Easy for 2 or 3 days and have one (or two!) flexi syn days and still lose or at least maintain weight? I'm thinking about over Christmas time when, if visiting relatives etc., you have less control over what you eat and how things are cooked? :undecidedA diet is the penalty we pay for exceeding the feed limit!:rotfl:
Joined SW 13/9/10 - wanted to lose 56lb and lost 26lb! Rejoined on 9/1/12 having gained 17lb of my loss!!!
Want to lose 50lb. 50 - 8.5 = 41.5 to go!0 -
Evening all- I'm glad Pooh mentioned syns as I just realised I haven't had any yet today - I've had tons of food though! Glass of wine coming up :beer:Is it possible to go between Success Express say for 2 or 3 days in a week, Extra Easy for 2 or 3 days and have one (or two!) flexi syn days and still lose or at least maintain weight? Hi Teecee! To me it seems you are making your life unnecessarily complicated. Why not just use EE, keep an approximate count of your syns and relax a bit over the Christmas season. You do after all have SOME control when eating at other peoples' houses - if not over how something is cooked, you can still stop yourself adding butter, or lots of granule-gravy, or extra pudding, or extra booze. No-one will notice except you, and if they do notice just say you've "had enough for now, thank you" and most people will accept it**. Stuff yourself silly with vegetables and fruit and sparkling water, without being a martyr (ie, don't force yourself to eat things you don't like!). You could try being the designated driver too, so no-one will pressurise you to drink too much.
** a hefty unladylike belch at this point should make it clear that you are stuffed :rotfl::jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!
