Billee I have The Activia Snackpot that says Fat Free on the front and has 0.1% fat per 100g, if that helps.

Personally, I have no problem with how 'forgiving' this thread is, we all beat ourselves up so much in our own heads, even when we dont need to most of the time, that it can become really counter productive. it's nice to have somewhere safe to discuss my problems and pitfalls where I wont be scolded or made to feel guilty - I give myself enough grief as it is! - and I dont think I'm alone in seeing the benefit of a friendly support network that forgives you downfalls and encourages you to pick yourself up and try again over and over (unlike the voice in your head telling you to give up)
Today is EE again:
Brekkie -
Green tea, Activia, shredded wheat minis (HEB) and rice milk (1/2 HEA)
Lunch -
not sure yet - might make lentil, pepper and tomato soup
Dinner -
Chicken with bulgar wheat and mixed veg
Hope everyone's having a good week - most of the snow and ice has melted here so I am finally getting all my xmas shopping delivered!! Got the tree up now too, which is lovely and making me feel all festive!!Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

Those are the right yoghurts Billee that BettyB posted, they are all free except the peach which is 1/2 a syn. Annoying as they are my favourite but i can live with half a syn.

Right, did well yesterday, but did use all 15 syns (the second wine was absolutely necessary!) Today will be:
B - Alpenlight cereal bar (HEB)
L - Chilli and rice (1 syn)
D - Cous cous and roasted veg
Snacks - kiwi, plum, banana, mullerlight
Not sure about HEA or syns, depends what I feel like when I get home.
Can't believe the amount of fruit and veg I'm eating - makes me realise I was probably NEVER getting my 5-a-day before. WI tomorrow and am terrified! One of my colleagues brought in a tin of quality street, and the prospect of WI tomorrow is defo helping my willpower.:A If saving money is wrong, I don't want to be right. William Shatner

Morning all, we've had another couple of inches of snow overnight at home but only a sprinkling at work, it's a good few degrees warmer today too but still well below freezing! WI tonight, not looking forward to it as I've not been 100% on plan due to not being able to get to the shops! Don't know whats for tea, we'll be having a treat after WI then back on plan from tomorrow.
Brekkie - Porridge (HEA&B), banana
Lunch - small jacket spud, tinned mackeral in tom sauce, cucumber, tomatoes0 -
Antonia 1 - you need 2 Alpen Lites for a HEB not just the one. You don't have to eat them at the same time but you should eat another one later in the day.

It was my WI last night and I lost my usual half a pound. I now have 2 and a half to go for my 1 stone shiney. I would really like to get that before Christmas, so may try listing all my favourite super speed foods as tried by......... sorry - I forgot who! If I get plenty of those then maybe that certificate will be mine for Christmas.
After WI last night it was our SW Christmas meal at a local pub. I have never seen so many Syns used in one meal! I had a crab, prawn and avocado starter, as did most of us, not too bad apart from the dressing. I then had the turkey and went easy on the roast spuds, gravy and stuffing, so did not feel I had really over indulged. I did go wild and have two ginger beers though! No pud for me, but a number of my fellow SW'ers had the waffles with Belgian chocolate sauce and ice cream - it looked lovely, but I was very full.
I had to smile at the guy opposite me who started off very well with the veg soup and wholemeal roll then went onto the beef wellington with veg and gravy, but he just could not leave those roast spuds alone - I'm sure he had about 2 dozen (just a few at a time, not all at once). At least he washed it down with diet coke! If he loses next week, it just ain't fair!
Anyway, we all had a good time and I am going back there next week with a walking group I belong to, this time I've ordered the turkey followed by Christmas pud - oh dear, better save my syns up.
Just off to run up and down the stairs at work.0 -
Oh I have a bit of a long winded question for the online SWers (or those with up to date books?)
I want to make my own bread this month (it's a test for my new year's resolution - to use some of the old appliances gathering dust in my kitchen!!) and I was wondering if anyone could tell me the syns or healthy extra value of home made bread.
It seems a bit tricky and I dont know if i might have to syn some of the ingredients (yeast, sugar, milk powder, etc) or if I dont have to because it's all in shop bought bread anyway (and there are much worse ingredients in that too!)
Also - I remember someone using a certain type of flour for pizza bases that were a HEB - Please could someone let me know which wholewheat flours are HEB??
I'm hoping I can make some HEB bread or rolls so I can stop buying shop bread - I dont eat it that much anyway, I hate the artificial-ness of it and the cost, and it always goes off too quickly!!
Any help will be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

Weigh-in for me tonight. In a week where I have spent 3 days completely ignoring the plan (Wednesday takeaway, Saturday good old night out on heavy booze and followed by the day after a night out) I'm not expecting good resultsWhatever doesn't kill me, can only make me stronger.
