    hi all
mrs m your choices look lovely hunny i especially like the first dress !

i am feeling fed up tonight so have come on for a moan
i really can't afford to go to class after monday and i am 3lb off target

i am fed up of writing down what i eat cos i can't be trusted to get it right (i probably eat 6 times a day)

i am fed up of saying "i can't have that"

i am fed up of having been so good for 18 weeks to have lost 8.5 measly lbs

    i am fed up of not being able to eat foods that i consider to be reasonably healthy without synning or healthy extra-ing them;
    granary bread
    sunflower seeds
    dried fruits especially apricots
porridge (28g is a sparrows portion)

i don't even want to lose weight any more but i know without the structure of SW i will just go and eat everything i am missing and then some.
i know there isn't anything anyone can do to help me i need to do it myself but i am crying inside with frustration and it helps to write it down and get it out.

    thanks guys :(

Commiserations Mummyof5; I think Daisy's suggestion of declaring target is a good one. I did that when I'd been stuck 2 lb or so off target for weeks and it enabled me to relax for a while then set another target after a few weeks "off". Especially as you obviously only wanted to lose a little, under a stone, and they do say it is harder the less you have to lose. The only solution foodwise might be not to buy sunflower seeds, dried fruit, bread etc if you can't help eating them. I do sympathise. I ate ONE DATE out of a pack of them yesterday; an hour later I had eaten them all. Why oh why did I buy the damned things? Anyway big hugs, we all go through it, give yourself a break (literally and figuratively!) :T
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

in the last 2 weeks we have had 3 ppl declare target after battling with the last 2 or 3 lbs for weeks - then go on to lose the week after !!

consultant did a big long talk about it in image therapy one week trying to persuade 1 lady to declare - she was getting more worked up each week bouncing up and down and really cross with herself - all for 2 lbs !!
    :j MFi3 wannabee :j
    mortgage owing 04.07 £36,000
    mortgage owing 07.10 £0 !!!!

why not just declare target then ?? you wont have to pay for a start and that will you give breathing space to relax and probably lose those 3 lbs ??
your target isnt set it stone so you could always lower it at a later time ??

    i didn't know i could do that !!!!
i thought once it was set , that was the weight you had to get to so as not to pay !! thanks.

thanks blackberry , i don't buy these things anymore , just fed up of feeling so restricted as i don't eat much meat .
my problem is compulsive eating , i still binge eat i just try to do it on free foods and within syns when the urge grabs me , i guess no diet plan is going to fix that :(

Yesterday's food - including decadent lunch out with mate :

Brekkie : None - was asleep!

Lunch : 4 small Salt and pepper chilli ribs and a small fried rice. Nomnomnom - I'm counting 30 syns because everything was fried.

Dinner : L/o veggies with gravy 4 syns

    HEA : Milk in teas

HEB : none - 'cause of missing brekkie.

So I have 10 syns left for today :)
  • I've been up for hours - yawn.
My nephew who is 13 was rushed into hospital (LGI) last night as he has some shunts in his brain and they had blocked. He has had surgery and is sleeping it off now. I can never sleep when these things happen - he has been ok for about 5 years now so this has been a shock. Hopefully all is well.
    Must go and get dressed....

    Good afternoon all wavey.gif
Hugs to those in need at the moment ..
fitorbust -hope your nephew makes a quick recovery..

Its a seriously crisp cold day here... but at least its dry wink.gif

Well the scale say "1.5lb off" for me this week :j -some days I actually like those bathroom scales hug99.gif....

My mission this week is to UP the amount of syns I am using.. I try this every so often and don't usually do very well redface.gif -but I WILL do it this week fingerscrossed.gif... the recipes Im planning on doing this week are :-
    1. Braised beef + roasted garlic pie (1.5)
    2. spanish rice with chicken n chorizo (2.5)
    3. luxury cauliflower cheese (1.5+heA)
    4. special fried rice (0.5)
    5. lamb n swede hotpot (1.5)
    6. mustard pork on crushed potatoes (2+heB)
Here is todays Red meal plan
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • 2 apples
    • fresh pineapple
    • 2 clementines
    • braised beef n onions (0.5)
    • 198g potato(B)-steamed
    • cabbage (0.5) for butter wink.gif
    • nobbies (brussels)
    • carrots
    • activia intensely (2.5)
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • 3 crispbreads (4.5)
    • cheese triangle (2)
    • tomato/gherkin
    • orange peppers
    • fibre plus bar (B)
    • fresh pineapple
So then -that "not so little" lot comes in at 2A+Bs and 10syns hmm.gif.. so I will have to squidge in something more - probably another activia wink.gif

Im really happy as yesterday I got the super sweet pineapples on promotion at 99c -so I grabbed 3 and now the leaflets have just been delivered and this week one of the supermarkets is having them in at 77c each -so I will be munching plenty of that this week tongue.gif.

Well I will be stepping up the exercise this week -Im back off to the gym.. Im going to do Wednesday and Thursday and then me n hubby are going to go and get an hour in over the weekend wink.gif...lets hope that helps shift the wobble ehh!!

right I will get off for now-have a great day everyone ,,

Hope hes ok and on the mend, my little great niece has been in and out of hospital the last few months with febral convulsions so know how stressful any sort of hospital trip can be [[[hugs]]]]

Mrs M am loving those dresses, had a look at the website and am guttered as they don't do my size, am too small now :(. Spent years saying they don't have my size as too big, now its the other way round  can't win [sigh] :o

WI today and STS hoped to gain [yes GAIN] the 1.5 I lost last week as its getting silly now. Wish I could find the happy medium. I don't wan to up the syns as this would get out of control but I am trying to let my hair down at weekends but I'm sometimes fighting a battle with myself to let this happen. Yesterday for example I resisted sweets at my mums [didn't fancy them], had only had a fibre plus bar since breakfast but did cave for the chinese in the evening. Sundays are easier, roast, hm yorkshires [yum], thick gravy [although I do eat all the veg 1st :D] and today will be rice pud and lemon curd this evening.

Any other ideas for the base of a quiche? I tried the mash [not that keen], had thin sliced potato this week [was better] is there anything else that people have tried and succeeded with?

Ok enough waffle, good luck and have a happy sunday all :A
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

    Thank you :T

That's not bad - I was having quorn sausages until recently, syn-free but they gave me terrible indigestion. Quorn mince never has, I don't know what they put in the sausages but it definately doesn't agree with me.
