Migrants took 9 out of 10 jobs created under Labour

This is another way of saying British workers failed to compete with migrant workers in 90% cases.Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0

I take it you have never watched 'The Garage' on Quest. It is about an all-English garage in Spain. Because English mechanics have a reputation for doing the job correctly, The garage is over-run with work as the locals just don't trust the Spanish garages.Never Knowingly Understood.

The problem is the playing field is NOT level........I have worked with a fair few EU workers and in gneral I found them hardworking but lacking in skill. I talk from personal experience and not hearsay.....
Most of the people I know own their own homes or more then one, I even know of one Polish builder who lives in a 3 million pound house in London, mortgage free and paid for through hard work.
Remember Auf Wiedesien (sp) Pet which showed how British builders lived like Gypsies? It was shown in Eastern Europe so that idea was passed down.
The British do have a habit of fcuking everyone over then a few years down the line complain when it happens to them as it all started with people from the commonwealth coming in to do the !!!!!! jobs no one wanted to do.0 -

I've been contacting tradesmen over the last few weeks to get basic stuff done and I can only assume they are all already multi-millionaires as the responses have been so haphazard (if they respond at all). How hard is it to reply to an email!0 -

Sorry but your talking complete boll*x now..;)
Very sweeping statement ,off the cuff with no substance.
Nothing to do with the post title, just ranting now...
People came here from the Commonwealth after the war because many of our men never came back from the war and the country needed re-building and nothing to do with your twisted idea of British people not wanting to do the !!!!!! jobs. You didn't need a degree to lay bricks, roadworks, sewer work etc as its basic manual labour.0 -

My Uncle was a Pilot in 305 Squadron during the WWII was welcomed with open arms and flew countless missions to help England win the war, after the war they didn't want him here or allow him to do a proper job and he ended up washing dishes in a restaurant in Stoke in the end he emigrated to the US.
My father who was in the Navy, Africa Star, Italy Star and Atlantic Star was also given a hard time after the war and ended up on a Panamanian travel document and was only naturalised in 1971.
Not really a rant just venting at how people in this country complain and moan.0 -

So because your father and uncle had a hard time youve tarred us all with the same brush.
How long do we have to keep paying for the sins of our Fathers?.
The Germans killed my Great uncle in 1917 and wounded my Grandfather at Dunkirk , I don't bare a grudge with Germany.0 -
Polish parentage, born here.
England only had a total of about 450000 deaths in WWII this includes civilian deaths Poland nearer to 5 million.
That maybe so, and its partly because we are an Island that we mananged to hold out for so long whereas the rest of Europe was conquered within weeks. Are you as bitter towards Germany and Russia ?
I mean who do you actually like? Is it a shorter list? What do you think of Belgium? I mean that Tin-Tin guys got a lot to answer for.
