Don't need money to travel the world.

Met a few British people who worked their way around the world.

Of course it helped they didn't have stereotypical ideas about foreigners.

I don't quite get your simile.

Anti-semitism in Poland had a long and less than glorious history. When the Nazis started the "final solution" in Poland they found some very willing local help.

1 they banned a race certain from occupations, including the government jobs
2 had quotas for them in universities
3 had segregated seating for them in universities (google ghetto benches)
4 restricted membership of certain unions.

As Poland did all of the above to its jewish citizens theen i think you would be safe to assume they were racist/antisemitic against the jews.

Or, 9 out of 10 jobs created under Labour were so poorly paid that only migrants would do them. There isnt enough substance to this story. Its well known Labour did their best to create a low wage economy supported by huge numbers of immigrants, and tried to keep their core voters pacified by paying them benefits in compensation.
