There is only one race - The Human Race

    But I digress

Where did they advertise those fantastic jobs servicing the london underground that no British people applied for? Was it in the overseas press? Certainly such jobs would have attracted me - I currently do far more than my contracted 37 hour week for 21k, so I'm not scared of hard work, in fact I've not been out of work for the last 23 years - which is maybe why I dont know where to find jobs like those ones advertised.

And so international marriage is banned. And of course if immigrants cant come here, presumably British people cant move overseas.

We just build a wall round the country and everything is wonderful.

Sorry, whether you like it or not we now live in a global economy. The financial forces from that will ensure that either a nation integrates internationally or is destined to become an impoverished but amusing historical side-show.

This is just not true. The army of lost souls looking for a better life may still be growing but the countries willing to take them is shrinking by the year.
Immigrating to Japan can be a simple process, but becoming a permanent resident is almost impossible.

It's that coveted American "Green Card," the official US designation for a permanent legal resident in the US. Getting permanent residency entitles an immigrant to a bevy of rights and privileges. However, the process is notorious for its difficulty and confusion.

Russia has a quota for the number of temporary residence permits it issues every year. The quota for 2009 is 200345 and it is divided among the regions of the Federation. Moscow City is allowed just 1500. In comparison, the Moscow Oblast has 10000.

Many countries in the world have virtually closed their doors to immigrants, even ones that are just going to spend money.

Hopefully only attacks of the verbal kind :p
    This isn't true though.

There are real hotspots developing in places like Blackpool. I know quite a few lads there through sport, and it's amazing how openly aggressive they are to things like new mosques opening.

To pretend people with these views don't exist and are irrelevant is simplistic.

I do not use any other aliases.

My apologies for confusing you with someone else. We used to have a poster called Dervish who was banned, I believe, for their continual racist posts.

Strangely, they had an avatar of a black and white scared looking girl (just like you), used to spout racist rubbish (just like you), was very anti-immigration (just like you), didn't ever respond to any posts in an intelligent way (just like you), prefered just to post one-line soundbites (just like you), had very poor spelling (just like you) and you two even post similar sounding, endless posts about personal attacks:

So as I say, apologies for mixing you up with someone else but hopefully this shows why I made such an innocent mistake.

Sadly true, but shouldn't our elected officials reflect the populace?

I really hope not, given the general standard of the populace.
A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.

    no problem.

People get confused over whether new members are previous ones all the time apparently. No harm done, anyway. :)

Terrible scars were inflicted on people like my parents and grandparents by the actions of Germany and Russia. The Poles really suffered, and got kicked in the teeth in the most vile way for their often heroic attempts to get rid of their invaders.

Terrible scars were also inflicted on a lot of Poles - by other Poles. Like my grandparents-in-law. They both survived the war, no thanks to many of their countrymen, and unlike the vast majority of their relatives.

around 6 milion Poles were killed during WWII of which 3 millon were jews which is higher than any other nations.
Anti-Semitism was rife in poland and in effect the poles themselves killed a large number of their own poulation.

It is worth noting that non-UK citizens from the EU are not entitled to benefits such as WTC/CTC, so with WTC on top of my earnings, I in effect, earn £2 p/hr more than the Polish guys working beside me.

That's not right. EU citizens are entitled to the same benefits.
