Burnt my mouth when eating at pub

How does that one work then??????????As I said, there was only one with liquid in so perhaps I wasn't to assume there were be liquid in them and as I said the breaded bit wasn't hot (at all) therefore you wouldn't expect the inside to be of such a burning temperature.
I agree they microwaved them too long (they admitted this themselves).
What I want is advice on whether I am entitled to receive any form of compensation, not advice on how to eat them
I have reheated breaded mushrooms in the micro for an apt time, the breaded bit on the outside was hot to touch...0 -
If you have permanent damage to your mouth it may be worth trying to pursue a claim although IMO you won't get far with it. Otherwise, write it off to experience." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

As it seems that as they admitted they over microwaved them and didn't warn you they might be very hot, then you possibly have a case.
For a legal claim to succeed you would need to show that the restaurant owed you a duty of care and they failed in that duty. Also that the injury was reasonably foreseeable...
Legally you MIGHT be entitled to compensation for the pain and suffering and also any losses or expenses incurred.
My preferred option would be to complain in writing as it upset your holiday any other legal advice see a personal injury lawyer."The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."

I bit in2 a pizza straight out of da oven the other day and I burnt the roof of my mouth. Can any1 tell me if I can get compo from Morrisons plz as it didn't tell me on the box it would be hot?
Seriously, I've actually made that mistake with breaded mushrooms once before (that I'd cooked at home), the lesson I learnt was not to bite into it without cutting it first to release the steam. The breadcrumbs on the outside will be cooler as they act as insulation.0 -
