Hi all
Well done all those who are selling lotsMy sales have slowed down now - 4 books in December. I've done a new challenge - 35 books in Dec - which means I have to get loads of books listed as I'm pretty much down to novels unless I'll find a stash of self-help books somewhere
Good luck everyone,

I was a bit late for the original, but am trying to sell one a day in my first month, inspired by all you good people.
Up to 8 in 7 days so far so maybe I can relax on Christmas Day!
Hope Cosmic Ordering is listeningMaybe I should draw a little book on my 'puter???

I'm not setting myself a challenge amount to sell.
I get excited if I sell one thing:rotfl:The curve that can set a lot of things straight is a smile0 -
Hi AT
I thought this link might be useful on the introductory thread.

There is an 'online claim form' but after you fill it in you still have to print it off and post it to them.

Thanks FFM - I was looking for that online the other day - couldn't find it. Need to sort this out for my lost RISI book.
Well done everyone on your challenges - I'm not setting a challenge, other than to try and list some new books on ebay (taken me about 3 days so far to list one :rotfl: - and that's still only in draft format!!) Tried Auctiva - didn't find it any easier than ebay.
FFM - all your sales of new books - well done and what sort of new books were they if you don't mind me asking? I have found it harder to sell new books as I'm competing against all the big boys....
Sold a book yesterday - Hoppin n poppin popcorn recipe book for £8.50!!! That's been listed since I started selling just over a year ago, I'm sure. It's something I had on my shelf - no idea how much I paid for it (or why I thought it would be a good idea to buy it!!!)
Well done everyone else on all your challenges - lets hope the sales keep rolling in for everyone.:DAMAZON SELLERS CLUB member 0024 come and join us :hello: make some space and get hold of some cash, we're on the Ebay and other auctions, Car Boot and Jumble Sales Board0 -

You're right, there is no real profit in new books, when I first started I got a bit 'ambitious' and found a place that sold new books at about 10% of RRP, I bought a couple of hundred pounds worth.
Problem was, all the 'big boys' shopped there too - so when I came to list my books there they were - and undercutting regularly. Turned out they weren't fast sellers either
So some of my sales have been for these books that I bought in the early part of 2005 - bit of a long term investment :rotfl: On some of them I'm still not making a profit, but at least they're shifting and making space for the more profitable 2nd hand books.
