Ive got some Winnie the Pooh Books from 1933, some booksellers online are selling similar copies for anything from £30 to £300 - what would be the best way to sell these? Obviously they dont have an ISBN which I guess rules Amazon out?0

Well it doesnt rule Amazon out but then Amazon wouldnt be the best place for old collectables anyway.
Ebay is the way to go although if they arent First Editions then the prices you have quoted are high. Also, correction they arent selling them at that they are listing them at that :rotfl:0 -
I dispatched five items today - three sales from today and two from the weekend. £15.20 into the coffers.0

hi guys, my hubby and i are sorting out our spare room and getting ready to turn it into a nursery for our new baby and i have loads of books i don't have room for.
i wanted to sell them on amazon but all the ones i have looked up are only listing for 1p, is it worth listing them?0 -
Because Amazon charges the buyer postage and passes some of this money on to you, 1p books actually get the seller £1.41, so as long as you can post them for less than that, you've still made a profit. Do be aware that they may not sell immediately, so if you need to shift them in a hurry then a car boot may be a better option.0

Anyone had any experience of selling large electrical items on Amazon??
I've just put a brand new Lexmark printer on for £80 odd - what's the likely hood of selling it?0 -
Yippee - My first book sale on.... Green Metropolis!
Wasn't worth listing at 1p on Amazon so listed it there. Added an extra £1 for p&p too so I'll make 2.23 after paying for postage.
Particually pleased because the Missus thought I'd paid too much at £8 for a batch of 31 text books - and this was one of em!
Time to make my Amazon listings a bit more exciting!Life should be a little nuts; otherwise it's just a bunch of Thursdays strung together.0 -
Well done Benji. My own experience on Greenmetropolis has been disastrous, so it is good to hear that books do sell there.

I sat myself a target of selling 10 items in December and 4 have gone already. Works out at about 1 book a day. Hope this rate keeps up.April £5 a day challenge- £15.05/£1500

Well done to those who have reached their targets. I'm not going to reach mine but still plodding away nicely. Little pot of cash ready for the sales! Have really got a lot out of the posts lately, especially about packaging.
