Back to the subject of Viking envelopes etc - don't forget you can get Nectar points if you enter the site via Nectar eStores at www.nectar.com

  • Not sure if I should post here.

I sold an item on Amazon Marketplace this morning but I haven't received a confirmation email with the packing slip details. My Amazon account states that I sold the item though.

How do I find the packing slip details so I can print off??

    Thanks.

On your seller account page, click on view your recent marketplace orders, then click on the order number 736-etc and then click on print delivery label and packing list .

  • OMG, it was that easy! Can't believe I didn't notice that!

    Thanks FFM.
  • I have finally had a book go missing in the post - I do have proof of posting, but it is an RISI book that has gone missing. Has anyone had any experience of claiming for one of these and if so what did you claim for, as I think previous comments have said that without say an Amazon sdn email it is a bit hard to claim. As far as I am concerned, they have lost a book, so I should be able to claim the repurchase value of the book, but I guess it probably doesn't work like that??

What would you do with your RISI swapper - guess I should ask her to choose another book?

Thanks for any help you can give me!!

There's a few threads on the RISI discussion boards I understand that they print off a copy of how much it would cost them to replace from Amazon - just to provide evidence of value.

    Here's one recent thread: http://readitswapit.myfreeforum.org/ftopic2846.php

    and an earlier one: http://readitswapit.myfreeforum.org/ftopic2551.php

  • Hi Bella 13,

Sorry to hear about your lost book - I had one ages ago for RISI but managed to locate another copy (10p) from a local charity shop!! I did put a claim in to the Royal Mail for the price of a new replacement and they coughed up a book pf 12 Ist class stamps which more than covered my costs so I was quite happy. I just kept in touch with the swapper and everything worked out well in the end. I think if I hadn't been able to find a replacement though I would have offered my other books to choose from or offered to return their book to them, or even send a cheque as compensation if they didn't want any of my other books. I guess the thing really is just to keep in touch with the other swapper and come to a mutual arrangement as it were.

On RISI just had my first swapper who has disappeard off the face of the earth - I haven't received their book, although they say via the site that it has been posted and now they have also been suspended as another swapper has had the same trouble. Fortunately the book I sent was a book club edition so I'm only really the postage out of pocket -BUT IT IS REALLY FRUSTRATING!!!

Now all I need is some more Amazon sales I need 8 more to reach my 30 target - it's not looking good. Also my GM sales have disappeared this month too.

  • Hiya,

My 1st forray into selling on Amazon and I lost money... item bought for £3... sold for £7.51 total to me, then postage £5.60 - grrr... lesson learnt!

Re: Viking - it may be useful for you to know that rather than juggling their catalogues - I have always found success in phoning up and asking them for them to price-check for the lowest price on the product across all catalogues. Always works for me... and you get the lowest price quickly on the phone.

However, lately I have been going through Quidco and ordering via EurOffice - I get 8% back in cash for every order plus very good prices - and occasionally a great offer e-mailed to me like 'spend £29 and get a free surround sound system' - which I did! Sometimes even a £5 Debenhams voucher etc.
