I have contacted the OFT as this is pathetic - I never used their services AT ALL!!!!
I think everyone should contact the OFT and report this - I dont disagree that it states there is a fee but I shut the site down as I refuse to pay for crap like that!!!0 -

Just for everyones information - I have contacted the OFT and they have replied in detail but here is the short of it!
I have therefore forwarded your complaint to the TSS where the trader is based for it to consider investigating the matter of unlicensed trading in their area.0 -

Absolutely nowhere did it say that they would take £19.95 out of my account along with another £19.95 from another website called rewardsnow.co.uk. If I hadn't checked my account they would have continued to take nearly £40 a month out between the two of them. The rewardsnow people replied, cancelled the membership albeit with no refund (and, contrary to their name, no reward) but creditscorematters have just ignored my correspondence.
STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. I can't believe they are getting away with this.
I have reported them to the OFT and they have come back to me in detail - but see below:

Which one of the 3 main CRAs do this company represent?
Oh, CallCredit, the one that the fewest lenders use.
£2 for a statutory report on their own website.
When will people learn to read and use some common sense?0 -
I have always thought these people make it very clear.0

We have had the same thing done to us, looks like if you go on to Credit Score Matters or similar there is a leech called Rewardsnow.co.uk who are given your details by the credit score companies that you are using, they are the ones that take £19.95 Fraudulently from Bank/Credit Card Accounts we are in the middle of going via our Credit Card Company and Trading Standards to see if we can get our money refunded, but 1st thing you must do is Cancel any Subscription that you have with these Credit Score Companies as they will keep on taking your Money and if its your Bank Account your Banks are telling you that they wont do anything unless you have it in writing from these scammers, you also need to cancel Credit Cards and Bank Cards so that no more money can be taken or as we have read from one poor unfortunate person they were taking it month after month for 11months that we know of. or is it the companies that have Rewardsnow.co.uk attached to themselves need to stop it or to get the Government Invloved.0

Well to all the people that have lost £19.95...
1. You wont get it back
2. Its a cheap lesson
3. Research/google/search MSE thoroughly ANY company you are planning to use
4. [STRIKE]99.9%[/STRIKE] 100% of companies giving "free trials" are to be completely avoided
5. Be thankful it wasnt a Nigerian scam you fell for because you would be down much more!!0 -
unlike dealer wins(above) do complain to anybody that is associated with this scam company it was £19.95 still fraudulent but reading other peoples comments they have been losing a lot more than this amount so dont laugh it off as a cheap lesson, contact trading standards as scamming companies like this must be closed down. Dont just roll over and give up we are not our credit company and trading standards are on to them as of today.0
