I was actually wanting to use it on a pre-order game, but not sure if it could only be used on DVDs.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Quick Grabbit, Freebies, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning and the UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.

My £5 wasn't used on DVD's - book, toy and kitchen ware and it was still applied. Although I didn't get on a standard e-mail I had to ring up and have it applied.0

Are you applying it during "checkout" on a "DVD" - this is the only way it works.Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Ignoring the issue of the "voucher" (haven't got one, unlikely to get one), Amazon don't seem to have learnt anything about customer service throughout this debacle (beyond "Customers? I thought I heard bleating...")
- personally I hadn't really expected to get the DVDs but could have done with a little communication (such as "oops we've deleted your order") and have been incredibly irritated by their cavalier attitude to customer relations.
If anyone is planning to get in touch with them using their email link (they don't use valid email addresses to send responses) I'd suggest you don't actually put your order number in the box provided for it - it appears they have trained their "operators" to excrete out the standard "we're sorry you feel aggrieved" excuse without the need for a human to actually read your email - I worked this out after my response to their initial excuse for an email consisted of a re-edited regurgitation of the same asinine burblings as the original.
Interesting little bit of internal communication left on my original message:
I wonder what responses people will start getting from the 11th...

They show the vat seperately - £4.26 + 17.5% vat = £5.0
