In my basket during checkout (top left corner) was "Promotion applied -£5.00" deduction £5 off the total before I had entered the code.0 -

OK I am a bit confused.
After a bit of badgering I received an e-mail today saying that I had been given a £5 voucher to be used to buy a DVD. All well and good but there was nothing in the e-mail which looked like a voucher code. When I look at my account and the gift certificates I find I have £20 which was a recent gift to me but no extra £5.
So as an experiment I tried ording a DVD. As I go through the various steps I notice at one point that it tells me that I have £25-worth of gift certificates. So I proceed to the checkout but at the final step before I commit to buying there is no mention of any vouchers and the rather strong implication is that my CC will be charged the full amount.
Can anyone help me here? If I actually go through and buy the DVD will my CC be charged the full amount, or the full amount minus £5??
TIA,
Pete0 -

Yes, it seems to. I have finally worked out that the £5 was given to me. It just wasn't obvious that's all. I went and ordered a DVD and when I got the final screen it was obvious that the £5 discount had been applied.
