Seconded, I am personally getting fed up with these Mis-Price threads turning in large multipage rants when people don't get the supposed bargain.:rotfl:
Amazon have been pretty good at letting mis prices slip through.
Loads of people ranting at them will just make them be more vigilant with the prices,so less chance of bargains.
Most of us have a £5 voucher or more in some cases, lets move on to the next one.

I'm still waiting for my cancellation email and voucher too, the order is no longer showing in my account. I emailed them last night and they said (btw all I did was ask why it had been cancelled and they took that as me being aggrieved!!!....

    Dear Customer

    Thank you for contacting Amazon.co.uk.

We're sorry that you feel aggrieved with our decision to cancel your order for the "Cinderella/Bambi/Mary Poppins/Alice in Wonderland/Dumbo".

We have checked your account and found that you may have already received an e-mail from us regarding this item.

Until recently we had still hoped to be able to obtain the item "Cinderella/Bambi/Mary Poppins/Alice in Wonderland/Dumbo" from our supplier. As we are currently unable to offer this item, the item has been cancelled from your order, and you have not been charged for it.

In addition to our large selection, one of the benefits we'd like to offer our customers is convenience, and we have not met that standard in this case.

To compensate for the inconvenience caused we had already issued a 5.00 GBP promotional gift certificate as a gesture of goodwill, which can be used toward the purchase of any DVD from Amazon.co.uk.

To place an order with a gift certificate please note that you must use the shopping basket method, rather than 1- Click. You will find all of the relevant details below. Simply print out the gift certificate or save the message on your hard drive for future reference.

We endeavour to provide our customers with the best possible online shopping experience and we realise that on this occasion, as a result of availability issues, we have not met that standard.

Please contact us (by visiting the following link) if you have any further clarifications and we will assist you:

We trust you find the above satisfactory and look forward to your continued custom. Thank you for shopping at Amazon.co.uk.

I got this email from them after chasing them again.....

    Dear Customer

    Thank you for contacting Amazon.co.uk.

No idea what a qualifying order is though.

We are sorry to hear that you have not received this 5.00 GBP Gift Certificate yet.

In addition to our large selection, one of the benefits we'd like to offer our customers is convenience, and we have not met that standard in this case.

However we do appreciate your business, and would like to give you a 5.00 GBP promotional gift certificate, for use towards your next Amazon.co.uk order.

The promotional gift certificate funds have already been added to your Amazon.co.uk account. However, please note that this will not appear in the "View gift certificate balance" section of the "Your Account" link.

When you place a qualifying order you will be able to see that the value of your gift certificate has been deducted from the total cost in the order summary. When you have successfully placed your order, the following message will be displayed: "Thank you--we have received your order".

Please note, this does not apply to orders placed through our third party sellers.

If you click on the "Your Account" link, located at the top of our homepage, you'll be able to view details of your order.

Again we apologise for the issues you encountered with this transaction.

Thank you for shopping at Amazon.co.uk.

£20 just obtained :d had to wait 1 hour 20 mins for it so a total of 3 hours wasted for £30 in total.

This is what I do all the time, fight so hard I end up forgetting how much time I put in to get a small figure. This time for a change I accepted an early offer of £15 and let it go. 5 minute phone call.

My girlfriend not a MSEr ordered the same thing and probably won't even bother chasing, she values her time apparently :)
