No, but I do gel my hair into a rather fetching side-parting when slipping "into costume".

Seriously though I was so impressed with my new Trading Standards persona that I kept it going once I got home... it worked a treat on the Mrs when I demanded to check her weights & measures.

  • Overall I'm fairly impressed with Mr T's today. They have certainly improved dramatically beyond recognition in fact, in terms of the pricing integrity. If I'd had a 'trip' to a few stores a year ago I'd have come back with a van load of meat and DVD's (seriously), but in fairness the meat was pretty accurate, and most of the DVD's in order, although not all, choccies were a bit OC, but I rckon what's happened on that one is some bright spark has looked at 99p the wrong way round and ended up with 66p, to much of a coincedence for anything else.

However, the spend £40 get £20 off mobiles is still a bit of a fiasco, hence, I have acquired some of these nice expensive items. What I don't get is why there seem to be different nationwide offers on the go at the same time. Even though the £20 off seems to be the latest offer neither it or the old offer seems to have appeared in some instances that I have read. Although it occurs to me that some of the refunds £339 would have been an R&R on both offers. spa2k et al, you must get your checkout staff up to speed on this PLU business, its being going on for ages, so there is no damned excuse for it.
Drat and Double Drat, curse that Mr T excuse for not giving me a refund.

EVERY LITTLE EXCUSE HELPS in trying to get out of the R&R policy when the law has been broken, especially on high value items. :D
