Leadhead, haven't yet had time to reply to your pm as I thought I was in labour half the night - false alarm!
You're a retired solicitor.......I thought you would be very conservative, or even liberal at times.....but not labour.Couponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

Really doesn't make any difference to me but just like to know where I stand. I have foolishly paid on my card a couple of times so they now have my name, again not that bothers me.
I really think they deserve everything they get, got my RandR steak Monday lunchtime and it was still wrong Wednesday evening. I would imagine the Cs and meat managers have had a lot of explaining to do, I had over £100 worth. Greedy I know, but I was so angry, the entire sirloin shelves were full of over priced meat! How many hundreds of customers had been over charged? I don't suppose they will be trying to contact them to refund them!
Now I know why i can't get nowt off the longton tesco!!!!0 -
Nice to meet you Iwant.
Perhaps we should go together.......make them sweat!
Meir seems really tight, hardly a sniff. Get a few things out of Newcatle.
I travel quite a bit and do well at Macc and Handforth Dean.
Where abouts are you, i'm in Werrington.

Just to add - store can dish out a verbal ban, written ban can only come via head office. Store Manager requests it, details are reviewed prior to it being issued. Normally after a verbal has been abused. (I know others on here have picked up bans in different circumstances. Not commenting on those, just how I would action a ban).Who or what was I before you came in to my life

Hi Con, what are your thoughts on the meat affair this week. I can understand the odd misprice, but for it to be the same for three days?? I can't say what I do for a living, but I would have been dismissed for that sort of incompetence.0

Frustrating. The volume this week has been very high. The problem arises because the routine to reprice it is in addition to the other PID routines and often gets overlooked (not right I know).
I agree with the points raised the other night - would be a lot easier if the SEL's were marked "price as shown". I also agree with the reason they are probably not - marketing.
It always comes down to marketing....over paid, under worked jerks. Bit like sewer rats, the lot of 'emWho or what was I before you came in to my life

I have to say that my wife and I visited a store we hadnt been to and I guess a store that no other MSEer has been to either as there were missprices everywhere in the meat section, whole chickens, chicken legs, pork, steak, lamb. You name it they had it. Even had the Rowenta iron still available ( not in the fridges )
We would have got loads but we have 2 freezers stuffed with more dead animals than a taxidermist. ( from recent R+Rs I might add!)
Unfortunately they only had one scanner and it wasnt working, and there was hole where a second once was.
Was hoping for a last ditch attempt on the lanson champers as its my babys christening tomorrow, but alas none was available.
We just want to concentrate on non meat items now, like electricals and alcohol.0 -

Me too! I have this week had the MP3 player and DAB radio. The first one I used my clubcard... as this was my first r&r this year. The 2nd one I did not use my clubcard but used my tesco credit card to pay..... forgot it was linked to my clubcard OOPS!!
Oh well £200 in a week in refunds I must remember to carry cash with me in future.
One thing though, there record on my spending must be up the wall as I drive from North Cambridge down to south coast weekly, oh and I have one of their location booklets too. How many different Tesco's can I visit in one week??!! lol
On my 2 r&rs this week both (different stores) asked for my address. Is this normal. On my first (mp3) I gave my true address, but on the DAB radio I got the hump and gave a fake address!!
Waiting for my telling off from mr T !!TB0
