  • In the last week I have noticed an unusual amount of new visitors to the two threads, low post counts. Has there been some media coverage or is it just word of mouth?

    Are there more trolls about?

  • Cheers for that - but even if they change the SEL can still get a refund under 28 days refund?

    Thanks for all the help

I have noticed the increase in newbies too, good in a way if they are all genuine shoppers, they should be aware about Mr T's policy.

But I have wondered about one or two posts (not today) where what is being said looks a bit rehearsed........it would be easy for someone at Dundee HO to become a fairly regular contributor here (would only take a month or 2) on the back of getting R&Rs others had already posted.

Difficult for us to spot too. What if that 'regular' then pm'd a few people (like you do) to discuss stuff?

Why did you see the need to tell everyone on this thread you have sent frisbee a PM?

As for Constantine I tkae it you are admitting to being in the Northwest, maybe we have met? im trying to think of female managers in stores.

Altricham the non food manager is female
Stockport the electrical manager is female

I cant really think of any other female managers I have spoken with.
Walkden and Horwich have all been male, I try not to get to the point of speaking to managers but the 2 I mention above were really great no argueing infact Altricham asked what I would be happy with as a refund on a DS and mario so I said both and she sorted it out.

So which one are you? ;)

I'm admitting to nothing. Just thought it would be nice if more people said Hi to their local sewer rat. Break down barriers and all that ;)

Yes but not on perishables like meat (and maybe not on a CD or PS2 game for instance, as these are not sold sealed and may be refunded without Q by only the nicest of CS staff).

DON'T get me started on marketing!!

Obviously i don't know how everting works but surely its a simple matter in the case of the meat anyway for the "SHELF STACKER" to check the price per kilo on the pack against the one on the SEL when refilling? Or is that not how it works?

Anyway, thanks to all for your replies, i'm off to bed now.....early start

    :j

Yep, simple as that. Plus the PID assistant checking & changing the price when the SEL changes. And checking the backup for any extra stock.

Like so many things, chuck a human in to a routine and you have a chance for error.

It's the way they are writing, stilted, considered, as you say rehearsed in many cases. Also, some jump in like they have been doing it for ages. It does seem a little odd.
