Thank you.
There seems to be a missconception developing. My store does have missprices - hopefully not as many as other stores, in part because I care about them and try and stop them happening. But they do happen. Getting an r & r is not the gauntlet you may imagine, my CS staff follow the policy. As do I.Who or what was I before you came in to my life

after a horrible experience earlier this week at tescos when they over charged me, i was overcharged today in sommerfield. I mentioned overcharge at til and was directed to a very friendly customer service lady who refuned the difference. So well done to sommerfield tesco are pants. I only shop there for offers and refunds.0

Yes, but SOME Tesco staff follow the Policy in an aggressive and intimidating manner, Have recently been interogated by someone who quizzed me like I had commited shoplifting, but he also followed the Tesco policy to the letter.0 -
twocoats wrote:Hello Folks,
don't know if anyone remembers my complaint about the manager shouting at me over mobile phone fiasco. It was way back in part 11. E-mailed Dundee on 30th Sept, Acknowledged on 2nd Oct. Then nothing from Tesco despite 2 or 3 calls a week. Complaint was also sent to Sir Terry at the same time. On 23rd Oct e-mailed Sir T again telling him CS were blanking me. Later that day I called HO and was transferred to CS duty manager in Dundee. Told him the whole sorry tale again. His reply was that if an expiry date was on display then no offence had been committed. Told him I was more concerned with the managers behaviour. I could have dealt with his behaviour in a much less orthodox but ultimately more satisfying manner. Assured me he would investigate and gave me his e-mail address to re-send initial complaint and guess what? Nothing, not even an acknowledgement again. Even tried using another e-mail system in case of a glitch but no joy at all. Honestly think they are ignoring me in the hope that I go away.
Sorry about the long post and I also can't remember my old post number for the original epic but it was a peach.
Found it. Part 11 page 13 post 244
In your position I would request a data search and also send a letter to sir tel letting him know you have done so and it is as a direct result of their stonewalling, as I have said before data search requests are extremely expensive for any company to fulfill draw his attention to the fact that you are knowledgeable of this fact and that had your complaint been taken seriously it would not have been necessary, but, that now you feel as you obviously have to take your complaint to outside agencies to resolve you are going to need evidence of your giving them opportunity to resolve, ie details of just exactly what responses your emails and other communications did or did not provoke. You should also include video footage in your request (most likely they will say this has been recorded over in the interim but somebody will still have to expend time to establish this)
IF ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT OF ANY COMPANY ARE NOT WILLING TO GIVE YOUR COMPLAINT TIME THEN TAKE THAT TIME FROM THEM IN THE FORM OF A DATA SEARCH REQUEST UNDER DPA.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -

I understand that, as I am sure anyone else who has read any of this thread does. As that does not apply to me, what was the point of your post?Who or what was I before you came in to my life

Tesco's stores are private property, and for that reason alone, they dont need any grounds or reason to ban you.
A lot of us have been banned without a reason being given.
HO is aware of this, and responded by saying that it wasnt their policy to ban people for being overcharged and getting a refund.
Since then, they have asked people to send in their details to have their bans looked at.
As of yet, I dont know of anyone who has had their ban rescinded....HO though, now have peoples details they didnt have before.Couponing....."every little hurts"

But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

How are all you subversives doing today?
Leadhead, haven't yet had time to reply to your pm as I thought I was in labour half the night - false alarm!

Hi Lead, thanks for the info.
Really doesn't make any difference to me but just like to know where I stand. I have foolishly paid on my card a couple of times so they now have my name, again not that bothers me.
I really think they deserve everything they get, got my RandR steak Monday lunchtime and it was still wrong Wednesday evening. I would imagine the Cs and meat managers have had a lot of explaining to do, I had over £100 worth. Greedy I know, but I was so angry, the entire sirloin shelves were full of over priced meat! How many hundreds of customers had been over charged? I don't suppose they will be trying to contact them to refund them!
