  • Got six boxes of the Lindt dark chocs the other day..20.94 refunded.
Today went to another tesco and they had the dark ones correctly priced..but the assorted ones wrongly priced! so got another six boxes of the assorted again refunded 20.94 no probs. I am just waiting for the milk ones now to make it a hat trick! :D
  • saw the Temptation biscuits but they had removed all the SEL's - the swines!!!!
  • Just had a browse around the local store and found nothing, but.......

After i had my refund on two correctly priced radios (blast) i left the store with my apple pie. Closely followed by....."excuse me sir can i have a word" For once i was VERY slow off the mark.... i usally press the record buttin on my mobile. " we know what you are up to, trying to make a living by spotting mispices - its all over the internnet" And?? I replied ......if you didn't overcharge then we wouldn't be having this conversation. "we can ban you from the store, we don't have to give a reason"

Like i say i was at a low point today and the very polite like "manager" (hi by the way if you are reading this) was spared the full Patches tongue.

    Just be careful out there!

    Patches

PS just a though, i wonder if they follow customers out of the store thay have over charged and offer them advice.......Nah! they wouldn't have enough staff!

Bully tactics again from Tesco's management. I'm pretty sure my banning letter will be in the post on Monday, but if they want to try and ban me from 3000? stores throughout the UK then please by all means go for it.

I will just start taking pictures of the products I find over charging and sending the lists through to trading standards and see if they like that. the store I go into every lunchtime actually knows me by name now. The manager actually said as I walked past him on Friday, Afternoon Mr XXXXXX.
(No that is not my !!!!!! movie name and I dont know how you say it before anyone asks!!!)
We took on Mr T and we won:D

Shame it had to end, will have to get free stuff from comps now
  • Wrong person to try and bully. He was very polite and professional, don't get me wrong, but had I not been so tired and would have torn him to shreds. As you say a lot of stores locally anyway, it’s just that this one seems so incompetent at pricing. Longton BTW

So which movies were you in Mr X lol
  • Adictive this.... After much reading had a go at my local today...

£1.99 on the shelf, £2.99 charged at the till, bought 2 got £5.98 refunded and kept the 2 items... Poppycock Cashews if your interested, SEL that was still displayed but 3 days out of date.... They are Luverly and the Kids like them too!

I hate this company so much for selling to the lowest denominator... they have what you want and like then dont stock it because they want to push their own label products.. sucks... at least now I can have my revenge at their stupidity and all with their own blessing because of store policy... Sweeeet!!!

    Hello Folks,
don't know if anyone remembers my complaint about the manager shouting at me over mobile phone fiasco. It was way back in part 11. E-mailed Dundee on 30th Sept, Acknowledged on 2nd Oct. Then nothing from Tesco despite 2 or 3 calls a week. Complaint was also sent to Sir Terry at the same time. On 23rd Oct e-mailed Sir T again telling him CS were blanking me. Later that day I called HO and was transferred to CS duty manager in Dundee. Told him the whole sorry tale again. His reply was that if an expiry date was on display then no offence had been committed. Told him I was more concerned with the managers behaviour. I could have dealt with his behaviour in a much less orthodox but ultimately more satisfying manner. Assured me he would investigate and gave me his e-mail address to re-send initial complaint and guess what? Nothing, not even an acknowledgement again. Even tried using another e-mail system in case of a glitch but no joy at all. Honestly think they are ignoring me in the hope that I go away.

Sorry about the long post and I also can't remember my old post number for the original epic but it was a peach.

Found it. Part 11 page 13 post 244

if TESCO works anything like ASDA did when I worked there, at the weekly meeting the store would look thorugh the refunds report and how much had been refunded. If it was high CS Manager would get a grilling which would be passed on the Cus Ser desk about being more vigilant. AND wo betide if the same product was coming through for a refund time and again becuase nothing had been done about it.

Mr T's must have a simialr practice I can't imagine they just hand out refunds without inspecting the cost

Miss price refunds are (or at least should) be reviewed daily.
