Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.

Please don't mistake my post for taking sides.
I just have a personal objection to bullying, and I think Leadhead's particular original post went beyond bossy, especially as it was directed towards a new poster.
I will return to my normal observation mode now and withdraw from active participation in this thread.
Perhaps Leadhead wants to discourage competition from other potential R&Rs and that is why it is so beastly at times.0 -

Has anyone ever taken anything back that they already have an r n r for?
I must admit I use debit or credit cards for the most part - I simply cannot go to the cashpoint and take out money that I may or may not need during a shop - cause I'll spend it somewhere else....
Also I can't be arsed to visit the store - tot up the R&R - go outside and get some cash.....
....Hey - I'm The Dude
Never had a problem - I'm confident that Tesco Mafia do not or cannot trace you via debit/credit cards.
Clubcards - different story IMHO.
I always used to advise Dudes not to go for a repeat R&R - but there was quite an intersting post a few pages back on Statutary Rights - seems like it's legal to go back for a second refund.
You should be OK - but if you've got a receipt that's been scribbled on I imagine CS staff are gonna be up for a good argument....

Please keep this thread on topic and useful, and the posts relevant to the subject!
These Tesco threads still continue to veer off into arguments or sniping at each other and the continuation of the threads is already under discussion and consideration by the Forum team. It is not helping the case for their continuation when they become unpleasant and/or argumentative so please stick to the topic and keep the thread useful and pleasant. Thanks.0 -

Welcome Dude
I suspect you were in fact overcharged.
You need to look at the pricing backwards - but you'll get used to it.
Shelf - £1.88 per kg.
Pack - £1.99 per kg.
Now I suspect your meat actually cost £1.86 or thereabouts - this is not important though.
You have been overcharged due to the weight difference - i.e. per kg!!
Forget the actual price you paid.
When I started this game it took me a couple of weeks to get my head round this, because of my long history of recreational drug use and bowling.
Now - it's second nature.
Once you understand and have the confidence that you are right - you can stand your ground and come out on top every time.
