There was a big yellow SEL on the shelf reduced to £10.37 kg, so they had put yellow stickers on the products to cover the original price and adjusted the price per kilo, am not sure if they had the word reduction on them but they were definitely yellow stickers on the product.I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

If the sel said 10.37 kg and the yellow special sticker on the pack said 10.87kg, the actual part of the pack that has the price on said what per kilo? (As this is the bit that is important on the pack)Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together.0

Almost certainly £12.87/kg. I had some yesterday. They are all over the place.I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0 -
Hallelujah, my first R and R.
Not exactly a misprice, but there were a couple of yellow label fishcakes in the cold section, normally £3.49, down to 87p, with a big sticker on the box saying buy 2 get £1 off. I bought two and got charge 87p for each. CS refunded no problem.
Its a small amount, but every little helps."Don't critisise what people look like, how they speak, where they are from, and what they are called. They cannot help it.
Do critisise what they say, and what they do, especially if what they say is different to what they do. They can help that"

Yeah I Know, I think I am the one who first noticed their special offer stickers on the packs were wrong!
So really it is irrelevant if they had a sticker stuck over the original one as it is the pricing part that we need to refer to. (Was what I was trying to get at)Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together.0 -

I'd have had to peel the sticker off to see it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They had repriced the item's at the lower price of £10.87 per kg so I couldn't see the original price underneath
They weren't the yellow promotional stickers you see on some packs of meat. These were stickers put over the original price, by the store to reflect the new SEL. There were about 20 relabelled packs, I saw 3 incorrectly priced and picked up smallest 2 as only OH eats beef.I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

No I meant by the part where it tells you the actual pack price, it usually has a price per kilo there too. (not usually a yellow sticker but the normal reddy colour)Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together.0 -

Sorry, I *think* I understand where you are coming from now. My packs were originally priced at £12.87/kg, they had stickers over them for £10.87/kg but the SEL stated originally £12.87, now £10.37/kg. In other words, a John Holmes-sized !!!!-up. :rolleyes:I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0 -

I think I saw mention of this yesterday.....This is the way I read it
The original price was £12.87a kilo
The price was then reduced to £10.37 a kilo and the SEL was altered to reflect this at £10.37 a kilo
They then altered the price on the packs with another sticker over the top of the 1st(£10.37kg) reduction, with another barcoded sticker displaying £10.87 a kilo.......but failed to change the SEL.......
So the SEL says £10.37 a kilo, but the "triple priced" packs now say £10.87.....a clear RandR.....
And as Becky says......it would be impossible to find identically weighted packs in order to change labels from one store to another....I would have certainly called the police about the managers accusations......Couponing....."every little hurts"

But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.
