I bought the lindt chocs yesterday, (2.99/3.49 error) and when I went in later, the SEL read 3.49. Was that just todays SEL out early?

You bought the chocolates yesterday and the label was £3.49?

    Yet you were charged £2.99

If i have this correct then yes in all probability the price increase was actioned early.

I personally have not mentioned the store that I work in and to my knowledge neither has constantine. Thus we remain anonymous and therefore any supposed brownie points or so called brown nosing are pretty much pointless.

Actually i cant begin to say how much being accused of being a brown nose is insulting.

I have to say I do appreciate Spa2K and Constantines posts. I also look at the 'verylittlehelps' website run for tesco staff and customers which was mentioned a fair few threads back.

I think it is appalling how Tesco seems to treat its staff if what half I have read about them is true. (Before anyone asks- no I don't work for Tescos or any other supermarket for that matter).

What's the deal with giving spa2k a hard time? ........people who do work for Mr T do have a right to read this thread, seems that spa2k is open and honest about this fact and does give info into how things work which may or may not be useful.....

    it's a free world.......so to speak ;-)

Why would you need to post the store you work in in order to get the brownie points?

Surely you could just tell your general manager/regional manager whatever your username and tell them to watch the thread. Brownie points would be yours and none of us would know about it! ;)

Not saying thats what you do, just saying that you dont have to post what store you work in in order to obtain said brownie points!

Oh and if you work in the Extra at Lunsford Park, watch out for my letter winging its way to you as we speak! ;)
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)

Just to narrow it down a little for you, its not the extra at lunsford park...did you sign your letter plushchris btw??

To be fair, there are easier ways of progressing and earning so called brownie points than posting on an anonymous forum, that is of course if brownie points are you thing.

Whats this, gang up on Spa2k day ?

What I want to know is how people find r&r's on white sels, like Pluschris did with the Beck Vier ( just ran out, ta Chris).

Also the 2 4 £7 Smirnoff Vodka still scans correctly..shame, just have to drink it.

People keep an eye on some stuff. I keep an eye on the PSP, DS games and cameras so I usually notice differences in prices in those sections, as you proberbly know tesco usually change their prices between £xx.94, £xx.97 and £xx.99 on most entertainment items so if I see one that is different to the norm I check it at the scanner. I use my local store for this, If i was to r+r in there they would ban me as I constantly call in walk round for 20-30 minutes checking stuff on the working scanners. If I find somthing I go to another store and claim my prize.

I am waiting for the speciall offers to kick in as most of the chart games have gone up to £32.97 rather than the previous £29.97 maybe they are trying to recoup the cost of all the PSP's and games they gave away £3 at a time :T

The spa2k hunt just go asking all tesco staff if they are liverpool supporters:)

And the only reason for giving spa2k some stick is the team he/she supports
