Can anyone tell me, the SELF SCAN - are these the tills you process your shopping yourself? If yes - can you check an item price without going through the process as if you are using it to do your shopping (if that makes sence)! Also - if these a best time to try for big items - when managers normally get involved eg. 4am (if at a 24hour store).0

find out what time cs is open then try then, but like i asked earlier once i found a misprice on a dab i immediately went to customer serives who immediately took the label off the shelf.- so no misprice for anyone else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if you bought something big i wouldnt hesitate to go to cs immediately just in case someone gets in before you0 -
devonpilgrim wrote:hello, not sure if this is the correct thread but I was reading somewhere about the filofaxes labelled as £14.** on the SEL but £12.** on the box and the CS stating that the SEL is correct and not the box!!! Well, this may have been mentioned already but on the TESCO website it says -
"If a product is price marked and a different price is shown on the shelf then the lower price is taken.
Therefore tesco CS wrong again!!:T
Thats a good spot devonpilgrim.....I'm very surprised it only got one "thanks"..........mine.........although I do believe "thanks are a bit thin on the ground these days"
Can you supply the link to that page please, for all to see.
Big Edit I think you have used this quote....way out of context.....see below.Couponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

Although I don't dispute the post (it should be the lowest price indicated thats charged), the quote is taken (I believe) from the price check website, not anything to do with refund policy.
Edit - I was correct, here is the link - http://www.tesco.com/todayattesco/pricecheck.shtmlWho or what was I before you came in to my life
I am not sure0 -

Yes I see your point....although his quote is correct....but in reading the page your link refers to, the statement isnt even referring to Tesco prices....it the other 3 companies prices....or how they obtain them.
Think i'll just cancel my "thanking" post.......
Ive editted my initial post....................(surprise surprise I hear you cry)...lolCouponing....."every little hurts"

Couldn't stand the mobile situation any longer had to pop out since my last post, came back with two of the little critters, white sticker this time, no bother, absolutely clear cut R&R. CS polite although tried difference, manageress incredibly polite, it almost makes me not want to go and R&R her store again. This is a new sympathy tactic I reckon. In the old days you'd come out of the store wanting to go back in to get a van load more, but now they are almost your best friend by the time you come out.
THIS IS TOTALLY DASTARDLY TACTICS MR T, even if I do say so myself !! :mad:Drat and Double Drat, curse that Mr T excuse for not giving me a refund.
EVERY LITTLE EXCUSE HELPS in trying to get out of the R&R policy when the law has been broken, especially on high value items.0 -
The filofaxes in my local Tescos had SEL of £12.97 and scanned at this0

Just wanted people to be careful.0
