I have been reading this thread with intrest..I havn't done an r&r yet,im too scared that CS will argue with me and as I can't do confrontation,Im scared i'll just admitt defeat!
Im not sure if my local tescos has a price scan checker thingy either...if not, how am I meant to do it?..Do I just try my luck and if the item scans at the till at the price it should do I go take it for refund?

It is nerve racking doing you 1st r&r, my advice is to go for the smaller items & build up your confidence.
Try to remember what has been mentioned here as being priced wrong then just give it a go. You can always return it at a later date saying it was duplicated, wrong etc.
The majority of the cs will be ok its just the few that are grizzly. Usually if you have a small r&r they are fine. Its when you come to the biggy it may get difficult.0 -
hello, not sure if this is the correct thread but I was reading somewhere about the filofaxes labelled as £14.** on the SEL but £12.** on the box and the CS stating that the SEL is correct and not the box!!! Well, this may have been mentioned already but on the TESCO website it says -
"If a product is price marked and a different price is shown on the shelf then the lower price is taken.
Therefore tesco CS wrong again!!:T0 -
2 mp3 players, sel £149.9? and charged £167ish
Horton - lots of mis-priced steak, medallion & feather
also saw Lindt chocs in Brighouse but left them there
looked for the champagne gift box but all priced correctly0 -
Can I just check when to query the price difference? Is it as it goes through the till or do I pay then to to Customer Services?OD Girls On TourBarcelona 2008 - Dublin 20090

my local store has a chemist in, and when the scanner was broken recently i just took the item i was scanning over to the chemist section she said something about not being able to pay there and i just said "oh no i just need you to scan it and tell me the price as there is no price on the shelf" which she was more than happy to do.TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -
seems like the philips mp3 has been discontinued - no stock in any of my Tescos dammit !
And all my stores seem to be getting more on the ball now ? Hello to any Tesco execs that may be reading this - you lot are finally improving your pricing integrity.

PS New motto: 'You can please all the R&Rers some of the time, you can please some of the R&Rers all of the time, but you can't please all of the R&Rers all of the time'
PPS Nah, I'll stick to 'Each to their own'...0
