Just a new job needed Victory to add to that list!
So far even the supervisor has gone quiet and well behaved, we are incredibly busy at work and that makes the hours go super fast and I am not then the main focus of being told off.
They have also recruited a new girl (I had the idea that the lady leaving would be given some of her hours) she is more qualified than me and have been given all the hours which the boss explained to me why, so can't disagree but would have liked more hours working with my colleague today, she is a joy to work with and lets you get on with it and is the nicest person you could meet.
I have been told in the New year I will be expected to qualify and work alongside boss in the dispensary but can't see that happening.
I am at work this afternoon and because of the people and my colleague am actually looking forward to it.
So far the snow has not arrived so it will be fine, on saturday when the snow is supposed to come that make the customers stay away but from now until xmas I am on with my fav colleague and do not have to see the supervisor so it is all good.0 -

They are because the focus is not me, it is on the new girl and seeing how she behaves, the boss is training up in the dispensary two people plus the customers are coming in droves so there is hardly time to speak let alone be told off;)0

I have done it........ 7 Stone lost and before Christmas I cannot say how happy I feel right now :j:j:j
Very well done to you. Let's hope I can join you soon with a similar achievement0 -
Things aren't great over here at the mo but I keep popping in to seehow everyone is doing and what the latest is.
Well done to all the losers, especially to Alliwantistosave, 7 stone loss is just brilliant.
My weight loss has gone by the wayside, it's just not important enough right now to me. I, like alliwant am facing my last christmas with DD. We won't even get to have it at home. We have the smallest glimmer of hope, but not even the consultant will put a % on it, they just say fingers need to be crossed.
So if I don't write on here for a while thats why. Thank you for all the support you have given me, and keep up the good work.

Sorry I didn't get to post yesterday. I totally forgot. I'll save my loss for next week's chart instead.
Well done alliwant, that is an amazing achievement. I totally understand how the Christmas season must be tinged with sadness for you. How are things with your mum?
BB - Congrats on losing your stone this autumn, and I'm delighted for you that you're feeling so much better. What a blessed relief that must be for you.
Victory - congrats to your son on losing a stone. I bet he feels fabulous. My son has now lost 8lb, and he's feeling much better about himself. He's really enjoying SW, and has taken on board the principles of being able to have what he wants, but it's in a measured and accountable way. He's even got his head around the principle of if he's had a big treat in the week, then he just eats the 'free' food the rest of the week to compensate. Neither of us ever feels hungry, and we never have to wait for a mealtime to come around to satisfy the urge to snack, we can eat and lose weight. It's been very liberating.
Your doing 'deals' in your head over a slice of white bread reminded me of how controlling food had become for me. I felt I was shackled by the desire to want to eat, but feeling I shouldn't, and doing similar deals in my mind; 'you can eat the toast for breakfast, but that means you have to eat less for lunch, and no potatoes for dinner'. Madness really. I have once and for all recognised, and challenged my bread addiction. There's no other explanation for it, but it's been the main reason for such steady and consistent weight gain in my life. It's the dept. in a supermarket that makes me excited, and has more choice than I can cope with. If it's got yeast and wheat in it, then I'm a happy girl, but ultimately it was making me unhappy, because it just meant I kept gaining weight. It was also a trigger for me to eat more, and more of it. I have to say that since I stopped buying it, and making it, and only have wholemeal bread in the freezer, it's not been something I've hankered after, because I've been replacing it with other foods I love just as much at the times I'd eat it. Why didn't I think to replace 2 slices of white toast with bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomato & beans before? haha
Fstone - welcome! I've recently joined Slimming World, and have lost 10lb in 5 weeks, so I am newly converted. There aren't passwords for the SW site anymore, but when you register either in person, or online you get a PIN code that is assigned to your account card (each card has a unique card number, much like your credit card). However, a lot of the site is viewable without the need for the PIN, and I'm sure they have weekly plans viewable to try out. Free foods are much the same, such as veg & fruit. They now do a plan called Extra Easy which means that any of the syn values listed on green/red you take the lowest value. You can eat unlimited fruit, veg, lean meat, rice, pasta, potatoes. You only have 2 Healthy Extras a day, rather than the 2 on Green/Original (so one A, such as milk/cheese, and one B, such as porridge, cereal bars). If you need access to the recipes, syn calculator and food diary online, than I'd recommend registering online and paying for it, as I find that it really helps to keep me on the straight and narrow.
Well it was my birthday yesterday, and I managed to eat fairly healthily for the day. BF and I went out for lunch, and the meals were absolutely tiny. I had loin of lamb, which was 50% fat, which I cut off, 3 small new potatoes, 6 green beans, 4 strips of carrot and 1 small broccoli floret! We never usually have dessert, but we both were hungry still and the pudding choices weren't great, so we opted for spotted d!ck with custard. Almost relieved to discover that only took me 5 syns over my daily allowance anyway.
Tonight I'm off out for an Indian meal with my girlfriends, so I'll eat wisely there, and never have a dessert after an Indian. I'm going to keep my syns for the rest of the week to a bare minimum to compensate. Last weigh in before Christmas is next Monday. EEk!
I feel quite liberated to be honest, that I've convinced myself this year that Christmas is only going to be 2 days or so. We traditionally have Chinese takeout on Christmas Eve night, left over chinese on christmas day, and then our Christmas dinner on Boxing day. That's it. You can only eat so much in a couple of days, and then it's back to normal again. I enjoy my main Christmas dinner more than the puddings, so have often not had christmas pud at lunchtime, but had it as my evening meal instead. We have house guests visiting the week after Christmas, so it'll be a good way to get the remaining treats eaten up. Any left over Christmas cake and pud after that will go in the freezer.
Christmas celebrations definitely change as you get older, and you have your own families to organise. We used to do the travelling around bit years back, and when I was married, had to spend each Christmas with my in-laws each year, decamping to them for a week or so. I do rather like being able to stay home with my boys and BF, and not have to charge around everywhere. I'm visiting relatives early next week to take their gifts to them, but apart from that, it's nice to be able to spend it in our lovely little cocoon.
Wherever, and whoever you spend it with, I hope everyone has a wonderfully happy holiday season. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Fellpony - that is the saddest news imaginable. My heart goes out to you and your family, and puts all the silly issues any of us may have here by the wayside.
I hope you find the strength to endure the tough times ahead, and know that we are always here for you if you need a place to find a shoulder to lean on, or a listening ear. I cannot even begin to imagine how hard life must be to bear for you at the moment.
Sending you much love, and kind thoughts, and know that you'll be in my prayers.
