And what a stunning result for your son Victory!:T
Mazza - unacceptable behaviour: I'm not suprised it got to you. Very unsettling to be on the end of such abuse.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

mazza: what a loser! Hope he has a rubbish christmas.
I'll have to do what your sons been doing victory!!
I went to London yesterday with the girls. It was fab, had a great day! I went ice skating at somerset house and didnt fall over, woo! Spent over an hour in the topshop on oxford street (could have spent longer!) went to hyde park for the winter wonderland and popped to Covent garden. Lush day! Must have burnt some serious calories!!
Its been quiet on here lately, everyone must be in christmas mode!0 -
im so unmotivated at the minute. Am blaming the cold weather and being so tired, Im not sleeping right well just now, keep waking up thinking about all the stuff that urgently needs doing, deadlines looming or passed etc etc.
The easiest way for me to get through christmas without bingeing is to become a hermit for a few days in my own little chocolate free and cake free bubble, but how do i do that without offending people ? I'd like to go visit family but they all just expect me to eat when im there and ... grrr , oh never mind!0 -

it looks like the cold has knocked a load of us off the wagon, its just a matter of getting back on it now.
the hard part for me will be re-losing the same pounds a second time, i really hate that.
How do people feel about new years resolutions? do you think there is any extra motivation to breaking a habit on january 1st compared to any other day, or is it just an excuse to ignore the habit over christmas?0 -
beanielou It is a painstakingly slow process but the only way is up;)
puds, eric Let's not twonk each other it is what it is and we are not perfect, realise that and onwards;)
NY resolutions in my opinion are a waste of time the amount of years I am giving up smoking:rotfl: or going out for more exercise:rotfl:or becoming a better person:rotfl: NY resolutions are a great idea but they don't last long, so long as you are a nice person, do good by others, value yourself and give yourself some slack you are just who you should be and people love you for that rather than the false NY everything is going to be perfect non achievable hype:D0 -

My birthday is at the beginning of the year and i write a list of acheivable things i want to 'target' during the coming year-last year it was to stopdrinking- lose weight and do some sport--it took til april to join the gym and really get into diet mode--this year i will take accurate body measurements and look to improve them--more muscle is my aim. i gave up alcohol for 6 months but only drink twice a week now as opposed to most nights before my birthday.mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.0
